OK. Here's very important issue.

As posted in the previous replies, people are being advised to rename their config file to skin_config.xml

This has created lots of confusion, because the file itself is orginally a .xml file

DO NOT rename the config file to skin_config.xml

but

skin_config as shown in my previous post.

Also the end of the skin_config file MUST be changed to

<string id="name" value="place-the-name-of-your-skin-here" />
<string id="skin_name" value="place-the-name-of-your-skin-here" />

</record>

******* For Scorpio Skin users ( must have 1.7b version ) it is ********

<string id="skin_name" value="scorpio" />

****** For BlueO users it is *******

I've tried to make the Alavanja skin work over and over again but I"m simply not getting it and I feel frustrated as hell. Any chance someone might be able to make a working copy of the latest version for download like the Scorpio one? Thank you very much in advance from a very frustrated individual.

I assume that for Slymlyne Sidebar it'll be "slymlyne_sidebar" rather than just "slymlyne"

Yes, I would assume its slymlyne_sidebar.

For all who have problems with other skins than Scorpio or BluO, which are working fine with their latest versions , I wanna remind everybody that its not just simply altering the original code of the skin. The skin itself or the version of the skin must be made able to work with FM15 15.2 update. So just modifying the code is not always making the skin work.

Here you can find the instructions and some people who have the same skin as you, and they have fixed their skin.

I use default skin,after update i lost 3d pictures...can anyone help please!?

3D skins dont work with FM15.2 . They are working on with an update to fix the bug.

I got it working, I had the .xml file extension in the skin name, after i removed it the game recognised the modded skin thanks.

Nothing working for Scorpio still...

I've followed everything in this thread.

Still not showing up on the drop down.
