Thanks GMFCRyan!

A single goal saw us take three points from our match against Wexford Youths. Crowe netted in the fifty sixth minute to give us yet another victory.
Next up, second placed Cobh Ramblers. A game we really needed to avoid defeat, but that's what we couldn't do. Despite dominating much of the game, we fell to a 1-0 defeat which could prove costly.
The League Cup second round saw us face Bray Wanderers. A comfortable 3-1 win here. Cannon scored in five minutes, before Harkin found the net twice in the second half.
We piled more misery onto Bray Wanderers in our next match too, as we faced them in the Senior Challenge Cup. A 2-0 win on this occasion. Cannon scored again, along with a penalty from Clarke.
We ended the month with a draw in the league against Finn Harps. The game ended goalless, and it was another missed chance by us in a game we really should of won.
With that, Coch Ramblers now only sit three points behind us, and a win would see them go top, as they're currently matching our goal difference. That loss to them could prove to be a big defeat!

Thanks SBR, sure Cobh Ramblers are going to be chasing us all the way!

We got back to winning ways against Shamrock Rovers B. A Cannon double, one either side of the break, was enough to clinch us the three points we required.
A friendly was up next to fill in a little time, so I wont get into this one.
Waterford Utd saw us continue on good form. Despite the fact we were behind for a good part of the game, we made it look comfortable in the end. Second half goals from Boyle, Clarke and Belhout saw us come away with the points once again.
We were drawn against Galway in the League Cup quarter final. A tough fixture, and we found ourselves three down. We gave them a little check late on though, with Clarke and Cannon scoring in the eighty sixth and eighty eighth minutes respectively.
Our final game saw us once again face Bray Wanderers at home. Cannon scored in the second half to rescue us a draw.
It wasn't the strongest of months for us, but Cobh Ramblers had a howler, allowing us to move six points clear of them! We've gone just past the halfway mark, so there's still a lot to play for!

July started with a visit to Drogheda Utd. A 3-0 win was the outcome, lead by a brace from Cannon. Belhout netted the other.
Cannon gave us the lead against Cobh Ramblers with seventy five minutes played. A few minutes later they had equalized, but we kept going, and Cannon again found the net seven minutes from time to take a huge victory!
We overcame Wexford Youths after a strong second half performance. Cannon and Crowe both found the net in the second period to lead us to another victory!
We did end the month disappointingly though, losing 2-1 to Finn Harps. Cannon fired us ahead but we couldn't capatalize on our lead, and it ended up costing us!
A victory against Cobh Ramblers was great for us, but we let ourselves down a little with the result against Finn Harps. We now sit seven points clear at the top of the league, with a game in hand. As you can see our goal difference is twice as good as second placed Cobh Ramblers, which is good for us should it come down to that!

Indeed he has been Dan, shame he got injured for three weeks here. Was unlikely we'd win the cup anyway, so it probably helped us.

We had a torrid time in August, all starting wit Shamrock Rovers B. A 1-1 draw in which Ryan fired us ahead six minutes before the break. The hosts kept fighting and got their reward in the ninety second minute!
Bray Wanderers took advantage of us too, beating us 4-3. Harkin got our only goal of the first half. Belhout and Creevy both scored in the second half, but we couldn't grab the important equalizer!
Next up, another defeat! Waterford Utd beat us 2-0. A poor performance all round for us!
We only just managed to get back to winning ways against Drogheda Utd. Defender Lagtry headed in the only goal of the game.
The Senior Challenge Cup pitted us against Sligo Rovers, and surprisingly we came out on top. Mohamed and Langtry scored in the first half to book our place in the next round!
Finally, Conor Cannon returned from injury! And he wasn't going to hang about too long to get on the scoresheet. He fired us ahead on the stroke of half time. A player we've certainly missed this month! Crowe scored in the second half to ensure massive result over Cobh Ramblers at this stage of the season!
We're now eight points clear with four games to go. The title is ours to throw away now, and we could have already wrapped it up had we not of been poor this month. We've secured ourselves a playoff spot, now just to go one step further, and claim the title!

What a horror month! Luckily only two of our four matches were in the league! We suffered defeat against Wexford Youths, losing out a goal to nil!
Non league Cherry Orchard were our opponents in the Senior Challenge Cup, and I've got to say, I wasn't too confident of going through as they had already put out two Premier Division sides! We slaved to a 1-1 draw with Kavanagh on the scoresheet for us.
Our next match was the replay against Cherry Orchard. Again they put in a great performance, and overcame us to continue their cup run. A 1-0 defeat here!
Finn Harps once against caused us problems, as we could only draw 0-0 with them!
Just two league games to go now, and four points is the gap! Surely we've got to wrap it up now! What a disastrous job we've done so far of claiming the title!

Just two games here to round off the season. First up, a tight encounter with Shamrock Rovers B. We won it late on, with Clarke snatching a goal in the eighty ninth minute!
We rounded off the season against Waterford Utd,and we only signed off with a goalless draw.
And with that, the confirmation of the title! I had done exactly what I planned on doing, and taken U.C.D straight back to the Premier Division! We were pushed until the final couple of games, but we held Cobh Ramblers off and beat them by three points to the title!
There's one more piece of good news to end on, I bagged my National B Licence! Hopefully I'll soon be studying for my National A Licence to really open up opportunities for moves in the future!
And with that said, here we go again! My next coaching badge should be complete in around four months! It's great that I'm getting these under my belt now as I feel it's a vital time to make my career a little easier in terms of teams that'll be interested in me taking them forward.

I'm glad we didn't blow it late on, thanks SBR
Cheers Johno
Thanks DP91, not sure how long I'm here for, obviously it'll be extremely tough winning the remaining trophies with UCD.

Just a quick update on the friendlies. We faced two Premier Division sides, and came out with 2-1 defeats from both. St. Pat's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers were the sides to beat us. Our other friendly saw us face Castlebar. We ran out 3-2 winners, and will now look forward to the new season!

I think it's safe to say a lot of your probably saw this move coming. It's clear that U.C.D don't have, and wont have the quality required to claim the remaining trophies here, so it was time for me to step down. I arrived here to do one job, and that was to take them straight back up, that I achieved! I've got my eye on a potential new job in a couple of months time, but that depends on whether the current manager signs a new contract. We'll see where the next step is when it arrives though ...

Within days of my resignation from U.C.D, Greenock Morton offered me an interview, however I wasn't interested in managing in Scotland at this point.
Next up came an offer from Torquay, currently playing in the Conference Premier. They finished the season in second place, however failed to get promotion through the play-offs. Had they of been one league lower, I certainly would not have declined the interview.
Northern Irish side Cliftonville were next to offer me an interview. Finished last season second in the league, however they were nineteen points off the league champions.
Finally came the call of Icelandic side Fylkir. A side good enough for the Premier Division, but currently playing in the First division, it was certainly a tempting offer. So with that, and the fact I enjoy managing in Iceland, I accepted the interview. It was great for them to come back to me with an offer, of which I accepted. So now I'm the new manager of Fylkir, and hopefully we can get back to the Premier Division by the end of next season!
After a disappointing start, the team who were tipped to win the league this season find themselves sitting down in ninth place almost halfway through the season. No wonder they found themselves managerless! I'm hoping to have a successful start here by rising up the table, then hopefully play from the title next season. We're out of the Upper League Cup which takes place at the beginning of the season, but we're still in the Icelandic Cup, and playing in the quarter finals will be my first match in charge!

My first month in charge was certainly a successful one! We started in the Icelandic Cup against Tindastoll. A brace from Zekovic along with a goal from Halldorsson saw us just past the non-league side.
League action next which is what's important to us this season. Selfoss were our opponents. Sousa scored in the first half, before we went ahead through Einarsson from a penalty, to claim a 2-1 victory.
Home to struggling HK we recorded a 2-0 win. Einarsson netted both here. The first fifteen minutes in from the spot, before doubling our lead five minutes later.
KV struggled against us in our next game. Guolaugsson scored early on to put us ahead, before we scored twice in the second half to take the 3-0 victory. Einarsson and Magnusson with the other goals.
Our winning run continued against Afturelding. A second half showing saw us score twice, though Sousa and Einarsson.
Haukar put up a huge fight in an encounter that saw us come away 6-3 winners. Zekovic netted from the spot in the eighteenth minute, before he scored again three minutes later. We blew the lead and were 2-2 soon after. Sousa fired us back ahead in the fifty second minute, but again we visitors levelled. Zekovic completed his hat-trick with eight minutes to go, before an Einarsson double in the final five minutes made the victory look comfortable!
A tough game against Valur was next. the Premier Division side struggled against us in this Icelandic Cup tie. We took the lead twenty three minutes in through Halldorsson, but Valur fought back and took the game to penalties. We were beaten 6-5 after seven penalties each!
A fantastic month sees us move up to fifth place. Hopefully we can continue our incredible form, although I'm not expecting to get promotion this season, but the higher we finish the happier I'll be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our fine form continued into August, remaining unbeaten through the month! Bi/Bolungarvik saw us ease past them 2-0. Guomundsson scored twenty minutes in, before our second was added from the spot by Zekovic.
Fjaroabyggo saw us take another three points, though a much tighter contest here. Zekovic netted twice, once from the spot. Guolaugsson had our other goal as we came out 3-2 winners.
A massive six pointer came up in the middle of the month, as we faced league leaders IA. We were set for defeat having been behind for a fair amount of the game, but Einarsson rescued a point from twelve yards with just ten minutes to go.
Back to winning ways against Vikingur R. Sousa scored from range just before the interval. Zekovic netter three minutes after the break, and Magnusson scored late on to secure the points.
Another six pointer to end the month on, against second placed KA. Guomundsson score what could prove to be a huge goal just before the break. Late on in stoppage time, Johannesson ensured there would be no late comeback from KA, securing a 2-0 victory!
After a fantastic month, it's looking like we may be penalized by the draw to IA, as we sit just one point behind KA with three games to go. IA sit five points ahead of us, and we're going to need favours in this late part of the season if we're going to go up!
Ryan9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final push begun against Prottur R. Magnusson had us ahead just a minute in, before Bjornsson found the winning goal with four mintues remaining!
HK kept us at bay in the first half, but a tactical change and Einarsson coming off the bench proved to shake them up. The substitute went on to score twice in the second half to seal the win.
We ended the season against Selfoss, where we got off the the perfect start. Guolaugsson scored eleven minutes in. Magnusson netted six minutes later, before Einarsson made it three on the twenty minute mark. An easy victory, but had we done enough to get promotion?
Despite winning all three in the final month, we hadn't got the luck of IA or KA slipping up enough for us to take advantage! It looked very unlikely that we'd go up when I took over, but some fine form made it start looking more and more likely! We missed out by a single point on promotion, and end two points of champions IA! We'll be back and ready for it next season!

Our pre-season consisted of plenty of games to get us into the mood for the new season. We faced teams in the division above, aswell as some weaker teams and teams of our strength. Overall, we didn't cope too badly. By looking at the results against FH and Grindavik, we could probably fare quite well in the higher league with the side we've got, so I'm hoping we can fly through this season finishing in the top two! Anyway, let's get on with the Upper League Cup!
Ryan9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
February consisted of three fixtures against Premier Division sides, so two wins and a loss wasn't a bad way to open the season. Valur were our first opponents, and they gifted us the lead two minutes in through an own goal by Karason. Guomundsson doubled our advantage nine minutes later. Adebayo made our position comfortable just before the break. We managed to get a fourth through Sigurbjornsson as we cruised to a 4-2 victory.
Fjolnir put up a tough fight but one we managed to overcome. Guolaugsson opened the scoring for us in the first half, before two second half goals, scored by Bjornsson and Halldorsson respectively, sent us to another three points. Clinched by the eighty ninth minute penalty!
We tasted defeat against Breioablik despite taking the lead through a Zekovic ninth minute penalty. The Premier Division side had too much for us on this occasion though, coming out eventual 3-1 winners.
A tough group made up of mostly Premier Division side, and it'll be tough to get out of here. But we currently sit in second place after three games. Hopefully our good performances can continue and we can take one of the top two spots.

Three more matches from the Upper League Cup took place in March, and they started with a defeat to IBV. Einarsson got the only goal for us this game, but we couldn't take anything from the hosts.
Sindri were our next opponents. We fell behind in the first half. Guomundsson got us back level before Einarsson got the winner with eight minutes to go!
Last seasons First Division champions IA were next. We took the advantage just before the break through Bjornsson. Adebayo gave us our second in the second half, as we come away with a 2-1 victory.
Three teams have now played six, won four and lost the other two. It's tight at the top, with the top half of the table being separated by a single point with just one game each remaining! I'd like to fancy our chances of qualifying considering our last match is against Grindavik who have clearly struggled so far!
Ryan9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our final group stage game saw us face Grindavik. We eased to a 4-1 victory here. Bjornsson got us started fifteen minutes in, then he doubled our lead three minutes before the break. Guomundsson made it 3-0 early in the second half. The hosts got one back, but any hopes of a revival was cancelled out by an own goal from Fjeldsted.
That win sees us into the knockout rounds of the Upper League Cup! We ended up topping our group by just one goal difference! Onwards we go!
The Upper League Cup draw pitted us against recently relegated Por! We took the lead on the half hour mark through Hjaltason. Einarsson put us two clear just five minutes later. We blew the lead as Por got back to level terms, and forced us into extra time! We retook the lead in the hundred and first minute of the match. Once again though, Por fought back and we went to penalties. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our side for this. We crashed out 7-6 after seven penalties each!
