Just tried to enter talks with my star right back, Manuel Ruz about a new deal and this popped up. Not a clue how I managed to piss this guy off, ffs.

Gavanon in goals was brilliant for me. I'm currently in talks with him over a new deal so I will keep you updated on that one. Ruz was phenomenal at right back whilst Levi Ives impressed me massively at right back despite only being 17. KP was a tank at the back too. Young, Harding and Hess were my main three in the centre of midfield. I will be looking to see in Gillingham will let us have Hess back next season but I highly doubt it. I will probably look at brining in a new winger or two for next season but they all did well, especially Ajala. Bowman impressed up top but I'm not completely sure he's cut out for the Football League, I'll have to assess that one over the Summer. It was good to see Junior Morais impress out on loan at Harrogate, maybe he will be a starter next season?
I've decided I will post stats of how players have improved in June (gametime) as I have only just finished the season. But I'm quite pleased with the progress of some of my younger players, it's very pleasing to see.
If anybody wants any specific screenshots of any of the players, just let me know.

At the start of the season, I noted a few players that I was excited about. Below is a graph, stating how they was progressed over the past 11 months. I'm most pleased by the rise in Ives, Young and KP. I'm very excited by the progression of Jared Sims and Erico Sousa, give it a few years and I think they'll be first team regulars- not sure whether to loan them out or give them a chance already. McNeil and Morais' development was disappointing. McNeil didn't feature much for us and Morais was loaned out which stunted his development.

Also, Barnet will be joining us in League Two next season. Harsh on Halifax because they were up with me pretty much the whole season but I guess that's the beauty of the play offs. Exeter and Accrington were the two sides relegated into the Conference.

On a financial front, things are also looking positive. The chairman is pumping a lot of money into the club and overall, the future looks bright. Our prediction is only to stay in the league however if I manage to strengthen right in the Summer, I will be looking for at least a mid table finish.

Keep up the good work Fola.

What leagues do you have loaded?

This is still going but there won't be any updates for the time being. I am in my final year at University and have a lot of deadlines next week so that's taking priority at the minute. Expect a lot of updates over the Christmas period though. Thanks again to everyone who has read and commented on this.

Right, I got a bit carried away and forgot to update. Lets go back to last season, we won the league and gained promotion to League Two. This season has gone so much better than expected as we currently sit in second position with only 15 games to go, back to back promotions might be on the cards!
I'll give you a run down of my results in all competitions and then I'll give a low down on all my transfers over the Summer etc. From now on I'll be updating every few months.
League Two
After a slow start, our form has picked up drastically and we are on course for a very respectable finish. Fingers crossed we can keep up our good form. The majority of the squad is the same team as last season with a few other additions. Luke Young and KP have again been brilliant for me whilst Ryan Bowman and Jared Sims have done well getting amongst the goals.
JPT
We crashed of the JPT on penalties to Barnet in the second round. Not too fussed though, not really arsed about this competition though.
FA Cup
In the FA Cup, the lads did brilliantly. We managed to progress to the fourth round before we lost to Championship side Reading. We knocked out Nottingham Forest (now of the Premier League) in the third round. In the draw for the fourth round, we were one of the last four in the pot which included Manchester United which would of done wonders for our finances, unfortunately we got Reading instead.
Capital One Cup
Didn't even make it to the first round.

Turnbull, Oshodi, Holmes, Grandison, Chihi and Palun are the only players who are currently in the first team. The rest in the youth or under 21s.
I was extremely pleased to get these two players. They both have way too much quality for this league but once again, our scouting system seems to have paid off. Chihi was previously at Fulham whilst Palun was plying this trade in the top level of French football with Nice.
Really happy with how my scouting system is going and how this save is going. If anyone wants any specific screenies then let me know, apologies for the long update.

One of my Danish scouts found this guy for me. I managed to get him on a youth deal and he's currently in my under 18 squad, I have very high hopes for this guy.

Due to my vast wealth of international experience amongst my backroom staff, I was expecting some foreign gems in my youth intake. My HOYD is Danish so was expecting a few Scandinavian gems, instead I ended up with some Torquay based rejects.
This guy was my highest rated prospect. I doubt he'll ever make the first team.

Angban is currently in my under 21's but I can't manage to get him a work permit so I am looking to get rid of him. Sorensen is 16 and managing to play for the Danish under 21s so very excited to see how he progresses. Sorensen has also gained interest from Huddersfield so I'm looking at tying him down to a long term deal. I'm very excited about the NI lot, hopefully in a few years, they'll all be in the first team. Apart from Ives, none of them have played in the first team, may look at loaning them out next season.

We did it! Back-to-back promotions secured after managing to finish 2nd in League Two. We were only meant to avoid relegation this season so I'm absolutely delighted to have been able to get promoted. The majority of the side, were the same side that won promotion last season so I'm very glad they've managed to keep up their good performances. Big shoutout to captain Luke Young who managed to bag 16 goals from centre midfield which is a great feat, our very own Frank Lampard. Jared Sims was also brilliant for me, I bought in him last season to feature in my under 21's but he managed to bag 17 goals which I was very impressed with. Good to see Martin Sorensen bag a brace on his debut too.
Rochdale ran away with league but we finished comfortably in second place. Hopefully we will get a good sized budget for next season so we can push on. I'm hoping the board don't expect too much from me next season, avoiding relegation must be my main priority.

I'm currently spending £35k on wages so there's a lot of room for adjustments of the budgets, I'm very happy with this.

Good to see we're moving up in terms of our commercial summary. We're on the up, my contract is up at the end of next season so hopefully I can tie myself down sooner rather than later.

I managed to win MOTY for the second successive season. I'm really happy to win this award and it's pleasing to see other sides taking notice after being offered a few jobs recently. Who knows, next season could be the third time lucky?
Buzzing to see Manuel Ruz, Levi Ives and Luke Young named in the team of the season. They were all key players for me in the Conference so for them to continue to be one of the top performers in the league above is very pleasing.
No surprise, Luke Young won the fans player of the year award for the second season running. He's a top player for me and he's only young so I'm hoping he can be a key player for us for years.
Fola
After the season finished, I managed to snap up a few players whose contract was running out in a few months time. Chesterfield were relegated from League One last season with Roberts and Darikwa refusing to sign new deals. Rochdale won League Two last season and were fussing about on offering Dawson and Bennett new deals so I snuck in. Reuben Reid signed from our fierce rivals Plymouth after refusing to sign a new deal with them, he managed to score 25 goals last season so I'm buzzed to get him. Mulder is a 17 year old Dutchman who goes straight into the under 18 squad, another one recommended to me by my scouts. Chris Maxwell joins as our new back up goalkeeper, whilst former Tottenham midfielder John Bostock joins on a free transfer. In real life, Bostock was touted to be one of the best in England as a youngster so I'm delighted to have been able to get him here at Torquay.
Used all of my budget though, I'm actually over my wage budget now so my finances are taking a serious beating.
