Scorpio v2.1 for FM 2015

Thanks to DazS8, Jubez, TomDixon77, Sortitoutsi community and DazS8 FM Graphics Group

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. The skin has a small sidebar version and a DF11 facepack compatible version. If you're using a smaller resolution I'd recommend using the small sidebar version.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE POSTING!
If you have an issue please read the comments to see if it has already been fixed. Also make sure you have updated to the newest version.
If something doesn't display correctly please post:

If you're running full screen or windowed

A screenshot of the issue

I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM if it is about an issue you are having with the skin as it is much better if all issues are posted publicly so that other people with the same issue can see my reply.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Download the skin. Make sure you delete any old Scorpio folders.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS OF THE SMALL SIDEBAR AND DF11 FOLDERS INTO THE SCORPIO FOLDER

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Scorpio”, "Scorpio (DF11)" and "Scorpio (Small Sidebar)” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version you want.

Hit the Confirm button.

Just tried the new beta. For some reason, FM crashes when trying to load it.. :/ If I start FM up again, I can get to the Main Menu-screen, but as soon as I try to load the game, FM crashes again.. :/

Changing back to the default skin makes it possible to load the game, but when I try to load Scorpio, it crashes again :/

Running on a retina Macbook Pro, resolution at 2880x1800 with 175% zoom

All other skins I try work fine (of course, when Scorpio is the one I want to use

)

EDIT:

More info: I just tried clearing my cache and reopening FM. This time, I got to load my game. But as soon as I clicked the background selector, it crashed again :/

Hey guys, just a quick update on what's happening. I'm going away for work and I can't get on here very often cos mobile internet in regional Australia sucks. I'm still working on v1.9 while I'm away, I just can't upload the changes to the beta right now. I should be back in about 2 weeks and then there'll be a massive update to the beta. After people have tested the beta for a few days I'll release v1.9.

That's a problem with team colours, I'm not sure I'll be able to fix it. What does it look like on the default skin? I'll ask Daz, he's better with the colour stuff than I am so he might have an idea.

Yeah, I changed the club details panel, I totally forgot about the cancel affiliation button. Try deleting 'club affiliated clubs panel.xml' from the 'panels' folder. That will set it back to default for now until I have time to fix it.

Not sure if this has been brought up but the sidebar labels cover the club badge? And on the player profile screen there are less windows than shown in the screenshots. I've got mates who've got this and it looks like it should but mine has the issues I just mentioned. Any help is appreciated lads.

It's because your resolution is below 1920x1080. If the sidebar labels are covering the club logo then you're probably on 1366x768. I try to make the skin compatible with all resolutions but it is designed primarily for 1920x1080.

Didn't now it was a resolution issue. Yes mine is on 1366x768.... I cant get 1920x1080 by the looks of it. No way around this I guess?

Are you playing on a desktop or a laptop? You might be able to set your desktop resolution higher if on a desktop or using an external monitor. If not, you could try setting zoom to either 95% or 75% but it would probably make the text unreadable depending on the size of your screen.

Just finished adding a bunch of new stuff to the player overview screen. I can't upload pictures cos of crappy internet but v1.9 is almost done. I'll be back in just over a week and I'll be able to upload stuff again.

I probably won't include it, like Jubez said I don't think it will suit the skin. I haven't got computer access for the rest of the week so I can't check it right now but you should be able to copy the font file over and just add 'font="font name here.otf" to the text line and it should work. You could try sending Emil a message, I'm sure he'll help you out.
