Was better then our pass rush at times. Still can't believe I think it was the 4th quarter when we just gave Rodgers so much space and was lucky for Adams to drop it. One of the reasons I can't wait for Jones to be back

I still think we should have gave Dan Connolly a kick return chance after last time

I'd say you were fortunate to have Tramon Williams "covering" Edelman and Gronk for two of your biggest plays all game. I have no clue how our D was so easily ran over by Blount all game either. Was an absolutely fantastic game and if it does prove to be the SB preview then i'd more than happily sit through another matchup.

He gets stick with some of his plays sometimes but this is why I love McDaniels. Mallet, Jules and Brola done this play in pre-season training and executed it perfect. Waiting 6 years to have him throw the ball is just genius. No one expected it even when Brola carried on running

Looking like Vereen is off to Giants. Helu Jr seems to be favourite for a replacement right now although I would prefer Pierre Thomas. If we can get a deal to Revis just keeping him and D-Mac would be the best off season. Bowe seems to be linked a fair bit too. Would not be a bad replacement for Dola who could leave

Brady suspended for 4 games, Patriots lose 1st round in 2016 and a 4th in 2017. Also fined $1 million. The first round pick seems a bit over the top to me. Can see Brady's ban getting reduced to 2-3 but if it don't his first game back is Colts which should be fun

While it is still early in pre season, I am pretty impressed with Jarryd Haynes. I think it's pretty safe to say that he is going to be an NFL player this season. If for some strange reason the 49ers decide not to add him to their roster (why?) then there is no doubt that a franchise will offer him a contract.

I'm also interested to see what Reggie Wayne will bring to the Patriots. I think that it's a decent signing and it is a very typical Belichick pick up. Odds on him scoring the winning TD against the Colts on what could be Brady's first game back???

Would love to see that!
