Scorpio v2.1 for FM 2015

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. The skin has a small sidebar version and a DF11 facepack compatible version. If you're using a smaller resolution I'd recommend using the small sidebar version.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE POSTING!
If you have an issue please read the comments to see if it has already been fixed. Also make sure you have updated to the newest version.

I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM if it is about an issue you are having with the skin as it is much better if all issues are posted publicly so that other people with the same issue can see my reply.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Download the skin. Make sure you delete any old Scorpio folders.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS OF THE SMALL SIDEBAR AND DF11 FOLDERS INTO THE SCORPIO FOLDER

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Scorpio”, "Scorpio (DF11)" and "Scorpio (Small Sidebar)” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version you want.

Hit the Confirm button.

In a few days. Pretty much as soon as I'm happy with the tabbed panel and fixed a few text alignment and colour issues.

hi wanna i have query reguarding this skin and your Wannachupbrew 1.2 Skin...first of all two amazing skins, but the problem i have is when i visit tactics page. On the right hand side of page my tactic is layed out on the pitch but the only thing showing under the kit is player names...the player position and player roles are not there. Instead if i want to change a players position or role i have to right click on kit then menu will appear...is this by design or a bug??

I haven't changed the tactics panel, it's identical to the default skin.

ok thats puzzling...could it have anything to do with resolution? What resolution where the two skins designed for?...mine is 1366x768.

It works on all resolutions. Try deleting the Scorpio folder and installing the skin again.

I already deleted and re installed both your skins several times with no joy...not to worry its not a major thing just annoying lol...i can still access players roll and position with right click. Thnx for advice much obliged.

I don't know how to change it so it doesn't reset at restart, but as a workaround you can go to Scorpio\graphics\boxes\overlay and rename the folder called "40" to "70" and the folder called "70" to "40". After that you get 70% background darkness by selecting 40% in game and vice versa. This also means that it should now be at 70% by default.

The transparency level resets again every time when I start a new game. Unfortunately, the workaround of Jubez does not work for me anymore with the newest beta. Any idea how I can solve this?

open 'backgrounds.xml' in 'panels/background_selector' find this line towards the end:


<container class="plain_box" id="10bg" appearance="boxes/overlay/10/10">

And add the hidn="true" tag like this:


<container class="plain_box" id="10bg" appearance="boxes/overlay/10/10" hidn="true">

Then remove the hidn="true" tag from the line that is labelled with the transparency level that you want.

I have noticed that it doesn't highlight when you are asked what team payout for each competition you want to select, also i have noticed that when offering a contract, it doesn't go green any more to indicate the player is happy

Thanks that fixed the wrong colour, not sure if it fixed the competition payout thing because i have gone beyond it for now

BTW this beta is sooo much better than 1.8 but found 1 problem straight away, in player profiles, the name and number shirt thing, overlaps the country badge. (i am using 1920x1080) is there a way to make the country badge/logo smaller?

If your running the 15.2 then you need to download the latest versions of the skins you want but remove the skin from your skin folders before placing the new versions then load fm and maybe clear the cache files
