AUGUST 2017 :

Here we are, another season in another division. Let's find how good or bad we will be !



2 VERY SOLID wins here ! I didn't expect to score 9 goals in the 2 first meetings ! A very good surprise here !



A really surprising start against Lens ! That goal right before half-time put us in a really comfortable situation, and we took advantage of this in the second half. Pretty happy with that.



Véret Show in Paris ! 4 goals, what else to say ?



Pretty good situation after 2 games in August. Let's hope it will continue !


SEPTEMBER 2017 :



A pretty solid month. 2 wins, one draw, 2 losses and an easy qualification in French Cup. I was really pissed against Saint-Louis, we had to do at least a draw, but they had a solid defence, too bad for us. Wasquehal put on some show, we weren't able to counter them, they were very good.

Véret and Jean are already proving me that they're good signings for the team, I hope they'll continue, we'll need them to have a good run !



A very good start ! We have a good margin on the relegation spot, and we can be a good outsider for the top 5. Let's roll on Longueau !

DECEMBER 2017 :



3 wins, another one in the cup we're in the 6th round (round of 32 if I remember well), but two bad resultats against top teams of the division. A loss against Paris FC and a draw thanks, once again, to Véret !

And ahead of the game against Lens Reserves I had 3 good news !



First of all, I reached the 100 games with Longueau, it's good, but it's far from being over with them !



Two records for Véret, and we've just passed the half of the season ! He put some huge numbers with the team. For 200K€, it's kind of a bargain.



We've lost the first place. Too bad, but the season is still long and we have 13 games ahead of us to take it back.


JANUARY 2018 :



A sad draw against Metz Réserves.. We had a loooooooot of opportunities to win it, but we weren't able to have shots on target to win the game. Too bad, it's 2 points loss once again.

A solid performance in Guingamp, a Ligue 1 team. 3-1 is "good". We had a good run, see you next year French Cup ! This elimination awards us 2,09M€, it'll help us in the future.

Finally a good game against Reims. My 2 best players scored once again, I'm glad I have them under contrat until 2020 !



4 points behind Paris now.. We can't afford to lose points now. We'll have to do an almost perfect run to gain this promotion !

FEBRUARY 2018 :



Perfect month ! 3 games, 3 wins, that's very good ! Véret also broke 2 new records, what a season for him



A league record, and another team record. I'm absolutely loving him right now ! I don't know why Lens left him for a cheap price, but I won't complain about it !



Perfect month for Paris FC too ! So we're still 4 points behind them. 7 points ahead of Wasquehal, so that's a very good season for now !


MARCH 2018 :

I'll start this month with the youth intake



I'll only sign the first two players. The other ones didn't seem very interesting to me.



2 boooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiing draws 0-0, and a difficult win against Bastia.. We're undefeated during these two months, the only way we can get the promotion.



We're tied with Paris FC, but they have a game in hand, against Paris SG Reserves. I hope PSG will send down a lot of players for this game..! Only 5 games left for me, we can do it, I believe in these guys !

APRIL 2018 :



Once again, a perfect month, thanks to Véret another time ! We have on addiction on his scoring, we'll have to change that next year to have another great scoring forward.



Meanwhile we were having a perfect month, Paris literally cracked under pressure of the promotion. Now WE are having a 4 points lead on them. There are 2 games in May. Just one win, and we're champions ! Let's do it


MAY 2018 :



My players were having too much pressure against Avion. A 1-0 loss, and in the mean time, Paris FC won their game.

But against Reims we had a solid performance, and we grabbed that win. A 2-0 game which puts us in National !



Here we are, it's now official, we're champions and promoted into the third tier of French pyramid. What a run until there !



The final standings, we finished with only a 1 point lead on Paris FC but that's enough ! On the 7 reserves teams, 5 have finished on the bottom 6 ! Pretty impressive.

We received a 50K€ bonus for the 1st place



On the resultats, we could see that Véret was a beast, and the seasons' stats prove it too



Best average rating, 9 goals more than the 2nd top scorer. Massive !


The board already set up the budgets for the next season. Thanks to the two great runs in a row and the great average attendance, we have something real good here

PRE-SEASON 2018 :

First of all, the best player of last season was voted by the fans



What a surprise !

I was offered a new contract (I forgot to take the screen of this), but I've signed in Longeau until 2023 !

The board fixed the goal of the season



Avoiding relegation, not a bad idea.


And here we are for the big big news :



We turn pro ! That's a good thing for the club ! I like this.



A lot of facilities improvement here ! I'm very glad the board decided to do this !



Another big news, we got an improvement of 100 season tickets sale !


NATIONAL :



Pretty used with the odds, we're ranked last, I don't really care about that now.



Almost 900K€ this season for the TV. That sounds good !



A so-so pre-season games. But we faced good teams too.


TRANSFERS :



5 players coming (Brun was already there on loan, I just bought him), one young player leaving on loan.



I think they are pretty good signings to finish not far from the mid table this season.


OTHER NEWS :



The World Cup took place in Russia. 20 years after France beating Brazil in final, Brazil took its revenge !

Algeria wasn't even in the 2nd round and sacked its manager. I applied for the job, just in case and..



So I decided to accept it, because we're 6 months away from the African Nations Cup, and that could be a great thing to qualify for it.



It look like an easy qualification group. We'll see that later..


And finally, a last news about Longueau :



13€ for a ticket, and the club is valued at 4,1M€ !! What an improvement here.

ESC LONGUEAU :

AUGUST 2018 :



2 games, 2 wins. Very lucky against Créteil as they had 8 players injured (and major ones !) for the game. Against Avranches we were dominated, but we did a great hold-up to hold on to the win.



We're on top, nothing much to say after 2 games, it can go easily one way or another.


SEPTEMBER 2018 :



Weeeeeeeell well well. Only 1 win, and it's in French Cup against a 7th tier side. 3 losses and 2 draws in National. After those three losses where I simply didn't exist (especially the derby against Amiens SC), and after the draw against Arles, I decided to change my tactic because it doesn't work anymore in this league.

It went pretty well against Les Herbiers, but we couldn't score. At least we had a good game, the first one of the season !



What a drop here ! Only 1 point ahead of Cannes, it'll be a hard battle to avoid relegation, that could be a thrilling season !


ALGERIA :

SEPTEMBER 2018 :



Two easy wins. I use a really offensive tactic in this group, because it seems really easy. 3 strikers and 2 quite offensive midfielders. It went well, because we had 2 blowouts !



Benin's still here. They're out next game, at home !

ESC LONGUEAU :

OCTOBER 2018 :



Well, this time it's a perfect month, with a very solid game against Colmar. I took vital points against Vitré, Strasbourg and Cannes who are direct opponents to stay in National. I also won 2 cup games, and we reach 4th round !



We're back in the top 3, that's pretty surprising. But we've done great things in this month. We don't really deserve that 3rd place, but we'll take it !


NOVEMBER 2018 :

I'll start this month with three news :



We're finally back at home ! Ivry's stadium was quite good, but we only got 200 people on "home games", far from the 400+ of last season.



I couldn't retain him.. I received 50K€ nonetheless, that's quite good for the team.



And I couldn't retain N'Diaye either . That's a sad loss, but on the bright side, we were able to get him back on loan for 2 seasons. He'll be here until the end of 2019/2020 season !

And let's get to the results now.



This season is a rollercoaster ! Second month without a win, it's harsh, but it's professionnal world though. We'll have to work hard from now on. Only one goal on these 4 games. Wakey wakey strikers, we're not going anywhere without you !



A solid mid-table position. 6 points away from the top 3, but 6 points ahead of the relegation zone too !


ALGERIA :



A good draw against Benin, even if they scored on a penalty, at least we didn't lose !

But real hard this time against Ethiopia. Thanks to the ref, we're able to catch up the victory with a last second penalty ! Meanwhile, Benin did a draw against Sierra Leone !



2 points more than Benin, and our next game is against them. If we don't lose, we're qualified.


NOVEMBER 2018 :



A blowout against Benin ! 6-0, 3 goals for Slimani, what a game we had. Easy qualification here, as I planned.

The last game against Sierra Leone wasn't really important, but the guys took up the 3 points once again. 5 wins and 1 draw, great run here.



The groups for the Cup have been drawn, and here is our :



We'll have to be careful about Burkina Faso (and also South Africa), but if we do our job well, we should qualifiy pretty easily here.

DECEMBER 2018 :



A 0-3 loss against Auxerre in the cup.. There was nothing we could do, they were just better. Our run stops here in the fourth round, too bad. But at least we have an undefeated month in the league ! A good win against Avranches, and we won the derby at home against Amiens SC !

We "broke" 2 records with the Auxerre loss (and I would have easily passed on the first one)



Auxerre also wanted my great and young goalie, so I had to make him sign a contract and turn him pro to avoid his departure.



Let's take a look at the standings now



Top 5 now ! And only 2 points away from the third place ! What if we get promoted once again ? I don't think so, with that rollercoaster season, but who knows what my players can do ?


JANUARY 2019 :

Let's start this new year with a "World Football News". And guess what ? Messi-Ronaldo era is over !



Oscar won the Ballon d'or ! Pretty impressive.

And the results, the reason why you're here following me.



Another month without a win, it's killing me ! Especially that Dunkerque game, we blew a 3-1 lead with 15 minutes to go, that's a shame ! But it's a good draw against Arles Avignon who dominated us from the first to the last second.



We have a solid position here with 11 games to go. 13 points ahead of the relegation zone, I like this !

PRE COMPETITION :



Slimani show in these two games. We'll need him to have a good run.

GROUP :



A blowout ! Easy victory with a ton of shots ! We even scored more goals than they had shots ! Good start of the competition here. This game allowed two players to broke Algerian records.



Two records for two important players in the team ! Let's hope they'll continue.



Another easy victory, this time without conceding a goal. 9 goals in 2 games, I really like this cup for the moment. And on the bright side we're already qualified for the quarter final. South Africa also won its 2 first games !



A sad loss here ! We have a solid domination once again, but when we conceed 4 goals, we just can't win a game. Too bad for this game. We finished 2nd here and we'll face Cameroon on the next round.




QUARTER FINAL :



Easy victory here ! We knock Cameroon out of THEIR competition. And we also reach the goal of the FA which was getting to the semi-final. Ghana is now on our road to the title !


SEMI FINAL :



That's tough. Really tough. We had a good game, but Belfodil's injury when I couldn't replace him cost us the game. Too bad, but we'll have to step up for one last game against Senegal !


3RD PLACE :



Great way to end the competition. 3rd is good, but I'll have to come back to Africa to win it !


PLAYOFF TREE :



Nigeria wins the Cup, congrats to them.


And as the competition ended, I resigned from Algeria, nothing left to do here for almost 2 years, I don't like it.

FEBRUARY 2019 :



Solid month here, 6 points out of 9, this is very good. It helps us a lot to maintain in this league. 4 more goals scored, my strikers are getting a way to score, that's really helpful for the team !



Getting closer to the top 3. That would be huge to do it.. And 14 points ahead of the relegation zone ! I don't know see how we can't stay in this league


MARCH 2018 :

As usual, March starts with the youth intake !



Not a bad draw, but I only signed Racon and Lotiès. I think they're the only ones who can make it to the big team here.




Tougher month than February. But we still manage to get 4 points, that's good ! My team shows some pride here, I like it.



We won't make it to the top 3, but we have a very solid position here ! 6th place, with only 3 points behind the 4th, it would be a great season to finish that high !

And I'll finish with post with some team news !

First of all, the progression of 2 players.




This is Ronconi, the defender I bought last summer for 26K€ ! What a progression he's having here. It's huge.




And here's M'Baye, my goalkeeper from my academy. Great progression too.



Ronconi is so good for his age, that he's been called up to play with France U19 ! Wonderful, huh ?

And, on a negative side, I lost another young player.



Oulare leaves the team for Sedan, a Ligue 2 team. That's bad, but we still got 51K€..

APRIL 2019 :



Another time, 6 points out of 9 ! Very good month here. Our season is almost perfect, I love it. And my players aren't that good !



5 points away from the 3rd place, I can say it's over for the promotion now !


MAY 2019 :



Bad way to end the season. Two losses, that's hard. Especially the game against Bourg-Péronnas. It costs us 2 places in the final standings.



7th in the end ! That final game is a mess for us. But it's a great season though ! I love this team



This 7th place gives us 380 K€. The 5th would have given us 490K€, too bad for us !


OTHER NEWS :



It was close for the player of the year. Congrats to Jean for taking it !



A new contract for the team. +55K€ compared to the previous one. That's veeeeeeery good !



Another player having international duty in the team. And this time, it's a young player from the academy, it's great
