Less than the previous year. But we didn't have any game televised, maybe it did something for that.
Youth facilities upgraded once again, that's good !
And a more important budget in junior coaching, that'll help to develop the young players we have.
Another time, we sell more season tickets !
I had to set the season expectation to the board :
Avoiding the relegation is an "easy" goal I guess. Especially with the season we had and with the players we recruited.
Still last, but a way better odd than last year. We're being a serious team here.
TRANSFERS :
4 players incoming. And one on loan, but he was already on my team, the great Ronconi. I sold him for 1.2M€ + 50% on the next sale + a 2 year loan on my team !

An almost perfect month. A solid win against Strasbourg to begin the season. We had a solid draw in the derby against Amiens, but we could (should ?) have won this one, as we were up 3-2 at the 88th minute with that Nazon's goal. We couldn't maintain the lead, that's a shame.
And a good win against Red Star to finish the month. 9 goals scored in 3 games, I like the sound of that !
4 teams tied at 7 on the top of the league, and we're one of them. Very good start here.
SEPTEMBER 2019 :
A Bahlouli show against Colmar ! He put us in a very comfortable situation and we just had to control the second half then. Then a very difficult cup game against a 7th tier side. They took an early lead, we responded quickly, but we weren't able to score the go-ahead goal. Fortunately, we avoided the extra-time thanks to a Ronconi header at the 90th minute !
Against La Vitréenne we had a solid game. We opened the scoring in a very weird way, Tobella was left side, he missed his cross, but it went in and we took the lead.. And never dropped it.
A hard game at home against Le Poiré Sur Vie (they were relegated from Ligue 2 the previous year). We fought all the way to get a solid point here.
And finally, a bad draw against Epinal. We had a 2-0 lead with 10 minutes to go and we dropped it the 3 points and somehow managed to get only one..
We're tied at first with Plabennec ! 2 points ahead of the 4th place. Very good opening here.

Just one loss in this almost perfect month. We put up some really good numbers in goals. We're getting pretty impressive this season !
We're on top of the league, but alone this time. 4 points ahead of the 4th place, that's very good.
NOVEMBER 2019 :
4 win in a row (with the one in Cup against a National team), but two draws to end the month. It's a disappointing one against Istres. They had 4 chances and scored 2 goals. I really have to improve my defensive players !
We're crushing the league right here ! 8 points ahead of the 4th spot, I like it. But it's far from being over here.

DECEMBER 2019 :
A warning month !! Nothing's gonna be easy in this league if we don't take it seriously. The last win makes me think we'll bounce back well.
Still first here. 7 points upon the 4th place, that's good, especially with that not so good month ! But we'll have to take care of business here.
JANUARY 2020 :
I thought that the Messi-Ronaldo era was over, but hey, guess who's back ?
Well, well, well !!! Wakey wakey guys ! 7 points out of the last 21 ! That's not good. Not good at all ! On the "bright" side, we've reached the 7th round (round of 16) of the French Cup ! It'll bring a lot of money to the club.
We're not first, and we only have 5 points above the 4th spot.. We'll have to fight until the end to get that promotion !

A VERY BAD game against Epinal. Right after this game I called a team meeting to yell at my players, and I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but they started winning again. Especially that big French Cup game against Ajaccio, a Ligue 2 side. We were impressive and a very well deserved win to get to the quarter final ! Then a very difficult win against Avranches, thanks to a 90+6 goal !!! Nimes and Sedan were easier games and we got the job done here.
8 points ahead of Nimes, 3 behind Le Poiré sur Vie. We're getting closer to the promotion without being too far from the title, that's sweet.
And the month ended with a youth intake :
I only signed the central defenders !
MARCH 2020 :
A lucky draw (once again) in French Cup, facing a CFA team. We get to the semi-final ! That's insane ! Two great wins in the league to get closer to the "dream" of the promotion.
"Nothing" changed here. Still 3 points behind Le Poiré, still 8 points above the 4th spot ! But with only 5 games to go now. If we're serious, the promotion will be coming soon !!!
Next update : End of season 2019-20

Almost perfect month. A loss (but predictable) against Caen in the Cup. One against Luzenac in the league, this one is bad, we could have drawn it, but we missed a penalty to tie the game up.
But with the win against Dunkerque..
..We're promoted in the Ligue 2 !! What a fantastic season here.
We had a massive prize money with our semi-final in the cup.

MAY 2020 :
Two solid wins to finish the season ! But is that enough to get the title ?
YES IT IS ! We're champions ! Wonderful season, it's amazing to get into the Ligu 2 that way.

Announcement : I'm going to take a break from this save. It's not that I'm bored of whatsoever, it's just that I want to play in other countries, without leaving Longueau, so I'll just start another save, because this one is very "boring" in the fact that I'm still in France. So, this story is "paused" but I'll let you know when I start it again.
