Our first game of the month at home to West Bromw as the first time I have been able to name a fully British starting eleven:

Ruddy; Trippier, Johnson, Batth, Flanagan; Henderson, Ward-Prowse; Sterling, Lallana, Murphy; Sturridge.

Sturridge scored twice to win the tie for us, and it was very pleasing that we've made so much ground already. The quality needs to improve, but it's a positive start. We continued our good form, beating Spurs 2-1, before drawing at Stamford Bridge 1-1. I'll happily take that at Chelsea, as they are off the pace, and they've got some amazing players despite not really challenging.

We overcame Ipswich 3-0 in the FA Cup, before travelling to Galatasaray in the first leg and winning 4-0. It was the perfect performance, and it should see us into the next round and tick off one of the board's expectations.

Danny Ings returned to match fitness at the end of the month, and scored twice at home to Swansea on his debut, before we got another win, at Burnley, to round the month off. Lallana netting twice as we completed another good month.

Still top, and still four clear of Manchester United but no games in hand anymore, so we're really on target to get the top four achievement the board require, and hopefully more!

We're 21 points clear of Spurs in fifth, and eight clear of Chelsea in third. Very happy with how we are performing so far!

We started the month with a double header against Southampton; firstly the Capital One Cup Final and then a home time in the league. We won 2-0 in the final, with goals from Joe Allen and Callum McGregor. Delighted to raise the cup, and hopefully it'll give the club a boost financially.

We followed that with a win in the league, this time 4-2, and our form continued with wins over West Brom and Galatasaray. I gave a couple of younger players a game against Gala, and we came away with wins in both games. We've been drawn against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter final, and as you'll see from the fixtures we're going to have quite the love in with the Gooners next month.

Two big derbies to end the month, both ending 3-1. We were on the wrong end of the result against Manchester United, before beating Everton 3-1 at our place. Very disappointed to lose to United, but hopefully it won't cost us too much in the league. The Everton result removed any ill feeling from the fans, but it was another decent month.

Five points clear of Chelsea, and we've near enough tied up our place in the top four which will achieve our board's expectation.

A good month all in all, the Capital One Cup is hopefully the first of many trophies at Anfield under my reign.

A very important month, and we start off with a 2-0 defeat at Villa Park. Anything that could go wrong, did, and we really struggled. Fortunately we made amends against Newcastle before our four game battle with Arsenal and City.

Our first game with Arsnal saw us win 3-2 at home in the Champions League, with Mario Balotelli and Callum McGregor on top form. We got the same result, with McGregor scoring again, against City at Wembley in the FA Cup Semi Final, and we go on to face Chelsea in the final.

Back to Champions League duty, and a goal fest at the Emirates ensued with us coming away with a 5-4 win. Delighted with the result, and we now face Leverkusen in the semi final which I believe is a very winnable tie!

Finally, we stayed in London and again played Arsenal, this time losing 3-1 in the league. Very disappointed to lose this game, as you will see from the table below...

So we've dropped to second after a very tough month for the club. We are way behind United on goal difference with four games remaining, and Chelsea are loitering as well.

This could go to the wire!

So here we go, we realistically need to win all of our games to stand a chance of the title, and hope that United draw at least once... and we started with that in mind as we cruised past QPR, winning 5-1 at Anfield. We then travelled to Germany and drew 3-3 with Leverkusen, another good result away goal wise, but we are conceding so many at the moment.

And that continued at West Ham, where we won 6-3 in a very odd game. Goals everywhere and all our scorers were English! Leverkusen then arrived and Daniel Sturridge put them to the sword with a hat trick as we won 6-5 on aggregate.

Then it happened - Manchester United lost at Southampton, and we beat Palace 3-1 at home to return to the top of the table. Chelsea were within two points of us, so we knew that we had to win our final game as a point could see Chelsea leapfrog us on goal difference. United were out of the race and we were going to Hull...

The most frustrating first half I've seen all season, and we went in 0-0. Sturridge and Sterling had awesome chances to score, but neither could finish, and Murphy was having a bad day at the office. I put on Jerome Sinclair and Jordon Ibe, and they combined to score the only goal - with Sinclair winning us the title!

LIVERPOOL ARE CHAMPIONS!!

Delighted to win it, and it was a real rollercoaster as we headed into the final few games. We had two big games remaining, as we beat Chelsea 2-0 to lift the FA Cup, before losing 2-1 against Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

So out of the four competitions we entered, we won three of them and got to the CL Final. Not a bad season that, and the summer will hopefully see the final clear out of non-British players (Enrique, Balotelli and Coutinho the big three).

Part 1: Transfers

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/Transfers_TransferHistory_zpsd6826206.png

Only three non-British players remain at the club (at first team level) after this transfer window. Happy with the money I recouped for the three big names, and Coates helped balance the books a little more.

That just leaves Enrique, Illori and Coutinho to find new homes for! £77m in is a great window though, but will probably be the last one we will be able to make a profit on!

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/MicahRichards_OverviewProfile_zps0fa0e625.png

This deal was tied up at the end of last January's window, but due to his loan he couldn't move immediately. I think he's a fantastic player to add to the squad, and at 27 years old has a lot of games ahead of him.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/FrankSedge_OverviewProfile_zpsbd4607e7.png

A youngster my scouts really raved about, and hopefully his year with his previous employer will continue his development. I had my eye on a few players from the lower leagues, but this was the only realistic fee, so we focussed on getting this deal done.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/KarlDarlow_OverviewProfile_zpsc9784809.png

Delighted with this deal, we needed a better backup keeper, and Darlow could actually push Ruddy for a start this season. Will try to give both a chance, but really pleased with this signing.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/WillHughes_OverviewProfile_zps2aa8b634.png

Standard signing for most on FM, Will Hughes comes in, and returns to Derby immediately on loan. Should be a good investment at £8m and look forward to him returning for next season.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/TheoWalcott_OverviewProfile_zps1cd4c1ad.png

Massive overspend on a player we don't need... well maybe yes, but it was a deal that I was keen to do. I really rate Walcott on FM games, he has a lot of ability and hopefully the large fee won't bite us on the butt. However, he is competing with Sterling, Lallana, Murphy and co for a starting place.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/AaronKuhl_OverviewProfile_zpsa84e8a11.png

Never signed him before, but have heard good things about him. David Luiz - I mean Aaron Kuhl - returns to Reading on loan, but he looks like a good bit of business for us.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/CallumMcManaman_OverviewProfile_zps4729fd8e.png

Bit of a random one this, but he was bought to provide backup, but also as a potential profit sale in the near future. He's got some great attributes, and with the continual development of our facilities, it could benefit him in the coming seasons before we could sell him on. Not much of a risk due to cheap fee and wages, but one to keep an eye on... plus it's nice to have a McManaman back at Anfield!

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/JesseLingard_OverviewProfile_zps4680a47a.png

Like McManaman, a cheap transfer that I hope will pay dividends for us in the future. Was a great player for me at Coventry, and hopefully he will repeat that here at Anfield. Might try to loan him out this season, but I think he's going to be a good investment.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/CallumMcGregor_OverviewProfile_zps8ac82aa7.png

Was really impressed with him last season, so I've decided to make the move permanent. He's got a lot to learn, but he played so well for us last year that I had no worries about snapping him up this season.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/JackColback_OverviewProfile_zpsc849e3b5.png

Jack Colback comes in as an investment, and I think we will be able to make some money on him as we move forward. He'll compete in an already busy midfield, but I hope he will reach his potential.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/August/TomCleverley_OverviewProfile_zps8ba98031.png

Love him or hate him, on a free transfer Tom Cleverley will do a job for me this season. Some decent stats, and extremely versatile, he'll fit in well here.

So there are the transfers in... next up is August's review!

Champions League: Quarter Final - I think we should be able to achieve this again, and is minimum expectation as we push forwards financially

Premier League: Title Challenge - Again, a fair expectation after winning it last season

FA Cup: Winners - Bit of a stretch, as anything can happen in the cups, but we'll be looking to retain the FA Cup

League Cup: No interest - The board aren't interested, so youngsters will be given a chance to impress, and hopefully we can get through to the semi finals

A trip to Fulham started the month off, and we cruised to a 3-0 win with Sturridge, Trippier and Walcott scoring. It was a good result, as it was a potential banana skin for us.

Next up was the Champions League, where we were drawn with Valencia, PAOK and Schalke. We started in Spain, and a Sturridge double gave us a comfortable 2-0 win.

Back to the league, and a much rotated side overcame Aston Villa 4-2 with Hanley, Wickham and Cleverley scoring their first goals of the season.

Another tie with Fulham ended 2-0 in the Capital One Cup, before we lost 1-0 at home to Manchester United. A dreadful result for us, and we need to be winning games against the sides around us.

We finished with another clean sheet, this time beating PAOK in the Champions League 2-0.

Our good run of form against Newcastle continued, as we won 4-1 at Anfield, before we picked up three points at QPR with Sturridge scoring twice.

Micah Richards gave us a win in Germany with two goals, before Ibe and Ings combined to beat Wigan.

We faced Newcastle again, this time in the cup, winning 3-1 before another devastating defeat to Arsenal in the league.

4-3 was a great game though, with Sterling scoring a hat-trick.

A great win over Schalke to start the month, with McGregor and Sturridge netting to secure qualification from the group with four wins from four. We followed that up by demolishing Leicester and Southampton, before a 2-2 draw with Valencia in the penultimate group game. We've won the group, and hopefully that will give us a good draw!

Goals galore to start the month off, as we hit four past West Ham and Manchester City. Andre Wisdom was the only player to score more than once, so that makes for an interesting stat!

Pleased to beat City, and then we added a win in Greece to round off the group with three points. Played six, won five, drew one - happy days!

Then we lost to Sunderland - what a come down!! We should've won, but we couldn't score, and I am really disappointed with this result. The fact we didn't score our goal til the 86th minute was even more frustrating.

We returned to winning ways immediately, beating Championship side Brentford in the Capital One Cup QF. I hope we can get to the final and win this again!

A comfortable 3-0 win over West Brom was followed by us walloping Chelsea 5-1 at home. We were superb, and it was such an enjoyment on my birthday! The press conference even referenced that it was my birthday and the result was a great present.

Two away games to finish the year, and a draw at Tottenham isn't the worst result in the world, but a win over Everton was a great way to finish off 2015!

Thanks again for the comments guys! We're getting through the games thick and fast now and still competing on every front. Johno - I think our game in hand is against QPR in February. Very surprised to see Sterling win Golden Boy, but it can only draw attention to him and the club as we push forward.

KEZ_7, England U19 should be a fun adventure, and hopefully give me a head start when scouting for younger players. I've not got a game for a long while though, so will see how much involvement is required.

Dan, thanks for the comment buddy. Summer window was good for us, and we had a busy January transfer window as you can see below:

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/January/Transfers_%20%20Transfer%20History_zpsioswy1y7.png

Coutinho was the only departure this month, as he left for Dortmund for £27.5m. Happy with the fee, but obviously in another life he probably wouldn't be allowed to leave the club so easily.

Transfers in were a mix of cheap youth talent with potential, alongside some heavy investment in the defence.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/January/Steven%20Caulker_%20Overview%20Profile_zpssjshmmcx.png

I'd been targetting Caulker for a long time, but he became available for £20m. I am really not sure I should've spent that amount on him. However, he's a good addition, and whilst the price tag might weigh him down, he should do well for us.

http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i477/willschoolar/Liverpool%20FM15/Season%202/January/Ravel%20Morrison_%20Overview%20Profile_zpsy9xaafx6.png

It comes as no surprise that he was restless in Italy, and we managed to pick him up on the cheap. I think he'll be a great signing if we can keep him happy, and his wages are still low. He's come in as a backup, but he will be given chances to impress this season.

Another bargain addition, and a return to Anfield for Tom Ince. It's a signing I believe will give us good backup for Murphy, and also should it not work out, we should turn a profit for him. It's nice to own McManaman and Ince now at Liverpool... 90's reunion!

A deadline day bargain at £2.4m, Kieron Gibbs was transfer listed with his contract winding down, and we made a swoop for him and he was signed quickly. Delighted to bring him in as he should prove a top class full back.

Disappointed to see the negative arrows on his profile, but he is playing regularly for the Royals so I have no idea why this is occurring. Can't wait to bring him back to Anfield and hopefully see him develop.

Playing well for Derby, but no obvious improvements in his stats. I hope that he will continue his run of games there, and return to us in good form to push for a first team place. Competition will be very high though!

Performing well at Bolton, but I'd expect more from him to be honest. He needs to step his game up, particularly with the recent additions we have made to the squad.

Disappointed that he is only featuring in their youth side, so maybe he'd have been better suited staying here, but hopefully he will continue to improve when he finally switches to Anfield.

Not featuring that much for Millwall, but he looks like he's done well in the games he has played. Will need to keep an eye on his development.

A new year, and a new start for Ravel Morrison who scored twice to beat Sunderland on his debut in the FA Cup. We followed that up with a cracking 6-2 win over Hull in the league before facing relegation threatened Fulham. Tom Ince opened his account against the Cottagers, with Sturridge adding the other two.

Sturridge then gave us a 1-0 advantage in the Capital One Cup, before we knocked out Untied in the FA Cup 2-1 at Anfield. Delighted to put them out, as I don't tend to do that well against them.

The second leg of the Semi Final was more eventful, but goals from Murphy, Lallana and Sturridge (2) gave us a 5-3 aggregate win, and we're into the final to face Leicester City.

After a good month, we ended with defeat at Newcastle, with a 1-0 result not what we were hoping from our visit to the North East. Disappointing end to the month, and United away to kick off next month.

Third place, seven points adrift, but two games in hand on Chelsea. This could prove to be a very close title fight if we can keep ourselves in it!

Superb month apart from stuttering defeat against Newcastle. 2 games in hands will be critical.

Thanks again Johno, appreciate the follow. Losing to Newcastle was a massive blow, but hopefully it won't damage the title race too much!

After losing the game at Newcastle, playing Manchester United was always going to be a must win game... which we lost 4-3 at Old Trafford. It was a cracking game though, and one that the fans enjoyed until the result, at which point they were "devastated". It's the first time for a while we've lost back to back league games, so we needed to pick ourselves back up at home to Villa and we won 3-0.

Three more home games followed, as Tom Cleverley scored four times to overcome QPR, before we knocked Sheffield Wednesday out of the FA Cup 4-1. Connor Wickham had found form, and scored twice against Wednesday before netting a late winner as we beat Palace 1-0.

Three big games to end February, starting at Arsenal where we won 2-1 with two first half goals, before Walcott rescued a draw for us in Italy away to Juventus. The away goal is massive, and I hope it will help us get through.

Finally, we played the League Cup final against Leicester City, and in a very dour affair, we came away 1-0 victors and retained the trophy.

Five points behind leaders Chelsea, but we still have a game in hand on them and a far superior goal difference. We've got a huge gap between us and Newcastle in fourth, so Champions League qualification should be a formality for us for next season.
