Tonight, Brentford played host to Blackpool in the Championship.. Blackpool who sat bottom of the league, the point deficit to catching anyone above them almost double figures, Brentford had 42 (forty two) shots in the game, in a 4-0 win. Blackpool had 26% of the ball during the entire game.

Before the season got underway, turmoil hit the seaside club, their chairman turned against the clubs fans, he sacked two managers in a few months, a club that was a premier league team only a few years ago were sinking very slowly. With ony EIGHT first team players a week before the season started, they got desperate and managed to muster enough players to start the season, badly.

6 months later, 12 points off safety, and in 33 games have conceded 65 goals scoring only 28 resulting in a -37 goal difference, with 4 wins to their name in 2014/15 relegation seems inevitible..

Could you do any better?
I have prepared an editor file, putting Blackpool in a situation just like the way they found themselves in at the start of the season, only 8 players remain on your books, can you keep them up? A limited wage budget and no transfer funds is all you have to help you get enough players in to stay in the division, not only that but morale at the club is non existent....

The players remaining are;

- Francois Zoko
- Tony McMahon
- Nathan Delfouneso
- Elliot Parish
- Bobby Grant
- Nile Ranger
- Dominic Telford
- Henry Cameron

The point system in this challenge are as follows.

- Have a squad of 25 players (with or without u21's/reserves) 25points
- Make a proffit over the entire season 100points
- Stay in the division 200points
- Win a manager of the month award 20points
- Manager of the season award 50points
- Promotion to the premier league 300points
- Finish in the play off zone 200points
- Relegated -50points

Just loaded this up, seems like a really good interesting challenge.

One thing to note is that there are currently 11 players at the club becasue of the loans to Joe Lewis, Donervon Daniels & John Lundstram. I am going to edit these out myself in the editor and start with only the 8 players that you said.
