hi everyone. Apologies in advance for this lengthy message - been away from FM (2014) for some time. First - editor : On a general note; I am trying various things, e.g. editing individual players, adding some, e.g. Leroy Sane (future megastar!!!), names of comps, e.g. english premier > Barclays Premier and others (for authenticity I like to name foreign leagues in their language), I am also trying to add Salford City, FC United and Maine rd to Skrill North (Vanarama?) by swapping with present teams and Create First Tower (Jersey) and add to Skrill South. When I start new career game I get the yellow ! sign saying showing as 25 teams and not 22 even though I swapped them. Anyone advise where I'm going wrong? Did this successfully before and played as Salford City.
Generally, do you need to edit and save individual changes, i.e. one player / comp, club finances, etc separately as a 'DBC' file or do all changes and save under one DBC??
I have found that for some reason the editor will accept some changes (e.g. Harry Kane's stats) but if i add Leroy Sane / Goretzka and some others it still comes up with the english league 'too many teams' error EVEN after i remove this edited file on new career start up???? Driving me insane. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!

Seems that you have not removed the teams from the leagues. Check the League Registered teams and also the clubs themselves and check the competition tabs.

thanks but done all that although i swapped them. Cn you advise re general editor dbc file question above also?

I personally would have each file individually and would not merge them.

I still have a strong suspicion that my first instinct with your file is correct. Please check the clubs individually in their own competition tabs.

Thanks i any ideas where i can get a fully working english database to level 9/10?? I have checked clubs - showing as skrill north. still don't get why still comes up with error even when i don't load editor file??

There is a database for that over on the SI Forums for FM14, a very good update.
