So here's my current squad as we enter the Championship, needs some major improvement if we're to stay up as there is a massive difference in quality to League 1. We have £7m in the bank and £3m to spend, this money was made by a very low wage bill (not anymore), new sponsorship deals and an away trip to Old Trafford. We lost 8-0 but made £2m from it \o/

Anyway, its proving very hard to sign anyone as playing for Southend just isn't very appealing.

Certainly is and has been for a couple of years or so, amazed you never hear anything about him on the forum as he's a very good player.

Finally got around to playing for a bit, we're holding our own in the championship despite the media making us almost certainties for relegation. The season started very and we reached the dizzy heights of 6th place at one, before a run of 9 matches without a win saw us drop back down to Earth.

Our best two results were a 2-1 home win over Palace which was quickly followed by a 2-0 win away to Derby. Overall i'm happy with how we're doing, is obviously frustrating not winning very often but we're in a league we certainly wasn't good enough for at the start of season so i can't really complain.
