Playing with relatively good players, so they should follow simple instructions right??

Work ball into box means not blasting the ball outside the box when there are players in the box right? (shoot on sight)

We are having the full control of the game with 20 seconds left on the clock my best player receives the ball on the 18yard box..... to then pass it all the way back to the defensive midfielder..... whistle goes of course as ball is back at half way line. full time.... thanks you!!!

Ok ive come to a conculsion that because ive created brand new players for each team in the premier league its acting like the club has a bunch of players who are playing for the first time.
Even though the individual talent is good, the defence is rubbish and the team just isn't gelling.

has anyone got any ideas??

I'm currently editing the players again, and adding the history in the hope that the AI will now think that these "New" players have been playing together for a number of years.

Football is football, you'll never get 100% of things right. Following tactics boils down to what your actual instructions are and also a players Decisions stat and Teamwork stat (dictates as to how much he will follow team instructions).

Since you have edited the players they will need time to gel also, I wouldn't be too hawk eye when it comes to the 3D engine. I think individual match statistics on the team and players can tell you more than simply watching the game on 3D and picking certain things out.
