Before i start...i'm bias towards Ronaldo as i personally believe he's the better complete player...

I believe on the last few games Messi has been far to superior to Ronaldo on stats...

How do other people feel on this? do other people think Ronaldo is underrated in comparison? e.g. Messi has 10 attributes on 20...Ronaldo has 1.

Also has anyone ever had a regen that can compete with these 2?

Or has anyone ever had Ronaldo come out on top with overall Ballon D'or's? or has Messi won everyone of them until he retires like on my saves?

Just curious for other peoples views!

Not sure what you mean by Ronaldo is the more complete player, you might just mean he's more physical, since Messi is the better finisher, dribbler, more creative, more efficient at long shots and free kicks.

Like Crane says I only think Ronaldo beats Messi in the air and physically (and I love me some Ronaldo).

In terms of FM physical stats have more weighting than technical ones, so lets say for every Finishing point you give a player (out of the maximum of 20) it takes up 1 Current Ability point, for the Physical stats it might be 4 or 5 Current Ability points. They aren't the exact figures but its along those lines that things are done (are used to be done, it may have changed now).

Out of interest, what are both players Current Abilities? The individual stats don't matter too much as both are probably in the 192/193 CA range. More than enough to rip shit up.

In regards to the rewards, is there much difference between all the rep stats the players have Messi always does dominate, maybe its less because of his CA and more because he potentially has higher reputation stats?

I never really load La Liga so I always see Messi clean up, maybe its a different story when you actually have the league loaded and things are based less off rep and more on player + club growth and decline.
