I know there aren't many Spurs supporters in the community, probably only me but that didn't stopped me to create a topic for the mighty Spurs. So I'll start off by saying Paulinho is set to join us next week and it's rumoured that Huddlestone will go to Sunderland, I hope he stays in for another year. Parker should be sold instead.

Paulinho should be a good signing, like watching him play. You still need a couple of strikers though. And a left back.

I agree about the strikers, that was the problem last season. As for left-back we have Rose, should be given a chance. I'd buy two strikers and eventually a creative midfielder, we really missed that Modric brilliance this season as well.

So from what I've read on different forums, AVB wants to test his favorite 4-3-3 which would look like this:

Lloris
Walker - Vertonghen Dawson - Rose
Sandro Dembele Paulinho
Defoe Villa Bale

Looks pretty solid imo, decent strike force. We're also linked with Mkhitarian (spelled wrong I think), reports saying the player's agent held talks with our representatives for 25m move.

He's not some obscure player no one has heard of. I'm sure plenty of top clubs have had scouts watching him for months.

Totally forgot this existed, thought i'd revive it so I can shout at our horrific defending this season in here without disturbing the other threads. I remember that Julian guy, bit weird. I should explain, I used to just get all my downloads from this site and 'lurked' in the forums for a while before I actually made an account, so thats how I remember him.

Anyway squad numbers have been announced. No room for Adebayor or Lennon so I suppose they are off. I'm being optimistic and hoping we have another player coming in soon as the number 7 shirt hasn't been claimed.

Our September and October fixture list look like a potentially disastrous run of games if our current form is anything to go by.
