Yeah fuck that game, we didn't deserve to lose at all. Missed a hatful of chances and had two huge penalty shouts turned down.

At least Bale got booked for his dive, I just wish more of the Spurs players did too.

And I think this might turn out to be a good thing that we haven't scored more than three goals in our last six, while not winning any of those. Might make Abroamovich realise that he is a cunt for paying 50 million for the worst striker in the league!

I need to find more proxies but tbf Southampton represented the true nadir of this campaign and the only way we could go from there was up.

Improved performances are all well and good but we need results - we have to beat Wigan. If we don't it leaves us in a desperate situation.

EDIT: The goals Stoke got... I mean for fuck's sake.

You say Pardew got his tactics right by playing much deeper, well i fail to see how playing that way against a side like Stoke who love to hit long balls is actually gonna be effective? And the second goal was a perfect example of 'dropping deep' not working against a side who love to pump it into the box from any angle. It just allows them to play to their strength's...

It did work though and we were the better team for the majority of the game.

Had a clear penalty turned down and Begovic was being his usual awesome self.

As much as Pardew isn't a good manager on the tactical side of things he got it right yesterday, we were just unlucky.
