Qualification for domestic division

Hey guys

I'm creating the Islandic football pyramid, I'm nearly finished with it but I can't find a way to make my 1st place qualify for CL league 1st qual round, and 2nd to 4th for 1st EL qualification round. And with my domestic cup it doesn't either. I have my top league set as domestic top division, but yet it doesn't qualify for domestic football. Can someone explain me how to fix this?

Haven't been in the editor for a good few FMs now, but I have some questions;

1. Are you creating these leagues brand new or using the existing Icelandic divisions? If its the former, perhaps you need to totally delete the old leagues to ensure the European qualifiers aren't clashing
2. Have you tried holidaying the game to see if the teams do actually qualify for Europe after a season?
3. What happens to the Icelandic European qualifying teams after you holiday a season? Do no teams qualify for the CL or Europa league at all?
