Torri
After my last year's success with Bayern (not talking about the story here, which went like four updates or how much, sorry for bothering you with it) I decided to start my first FM13 game with them, and also the career, which I hope will continue longer and will be updated more often than the last one
This is what game says about the team.
What I want
- offensive football (even if that means higher number of allowed goals)
- focus on Bundesliga and Champions League, all the other cups & supercups are not so important
- build a state-of-art academy and produce good (excellent) young players
- focus on buying Germans (already broken with the first signing)
- and of course, to keep the red flag flyin' high over Germany! Who's Dortmund?
Torri
(aka the most attacking first choice tactics I have ever used in FM)
Firstly, I started with Robben & Ribéry as wingers, but Shaqiri somehow managed to become the best goalscorer in the whole league, so he's starting for now. Ribéry has to stay on the bench, don't have a place for three wingers.
When Mandzukic comes on for Muller or starts instead of him, I change his instructions to poacher, but I leave him as the target man in the team instructions.
It all works too good to be true. Haven't lost a point yet (and I've played quite a lot of matches already).
I don't have any backup tactics yet, I should think about something "balanced" or what.
THE TRANSFER
(the only one)
Butland.
And Livermore. This doesn't really count as a transfer, I've just loaned him in, and now I regret it. I have enough DM's, and I don't know what brought me to the idea I should loan one more. I need a winger
The real updates start from the next one, which will be after half of the season. Question of a couple more days.
Torri
(Keeping it short)
Lorient guys should celebrate. They're the only team who managed to beat Bayern.
Player stats are coming next time I open FM, because now it doesn't show everything it should.
I'm really happy with the form of Mario's (both Mandzukić and Gómez), Thomas Muller and Xherdan Shaqiri. Manu is a classy goalkeeper, which really doesn't need to be the best player overall to show how good he is
If we don't count friendlies - 0 lost, 1 drawn. This is exactly the way I want it to work. Winning league without losing a point would be a perfect way to end the first season, wouldn't it?
Two notable matches
What I want (and how does it work for now)
- offensive football (even if that means higher number of allowed goals) ✔ (27 matches. 82 scored goals = 3 goals per match.) updated goal - to have 4 goals per match in average
- focus on Bundesliga and Champions League, all the other cups & supercups are not so important - (somehow still in the cup and won the Supercup)
- build a state-of-art academy and produce good (excellent) young players not yet (half a season is too short amount of time)
- focus on buying Germans (already broken with the first signing) - (Two Englishmen)
- and of course, to keep the red flag flyin' high over Germany! Who's Dortmund? ✔ (Dortmund's 4th with 21 points loss, just after half a season. Ouch, I know, it hurts, yellow guys.)
ADDING ONE MORE POINT
- win the league without losing a point (okay, one draw at most)
