So after some thought I've decided to begin Unemployed...
I've decided to take a break from playing semi-professional Ice Hockey and try my luck at Football Management.
However to ensure I started with a bottom division club I went on holiday in the game, applying for every bottom division club that becomes available, and not returning until being offered a job. Straight away I was offered jobs at Athlone Town (Irish First Division) and Brechin (Scottish Second Division). I decided to reject both purely because I fancy managing at a different club to others who have started the same way.
Next: Who will be the next club to offer a contract?

Havant & Waterlooville, who are currently in the Blue Square South offered me a contract. I was happy to accept, they happen to be my closest side geographically in the league as well!
I think the squad is ok, some good players at this level but I will need to improve.
Steve Ramsey looks a top central midfielder, and with Eddie Hutchinson also in the middle of the park I have a solid pair.
Upfront Ollie Palmer looks a decent striker, and I'll be hoping for him to bag some goals this season.
And in defence Ed Harris looks a good right back.
The main problem area is on the left side of defence. Other than that we seem ok but I will be looking to add some depth to the squad over the coming weeks.
