I got hired in the Ukrain by a team which name I can't pronounce Krympteplytsya Molodizhne. Unfortunatly I didn't record the team strength before I startded to do transfers but I did after I was done.
We had a wobbly pre-season. The results look worse then they realy where. Against Kuban we played realy well and stayed on equal foot until the 85th minute, after they banged in two. Against Spartak Moskow we held it even till 75th minute before the ran away with it. But I just blaim it all on bad condition. Spartak Molodizhne was actualy the worst game in the pre-season, eventho we got a draw. After this game I brought in a late signing Celsinho.

Our strange pre-season just continued into the league season. Our first match we played a decent kind of football, but we failed to find the final pass to get into scoring positions. The goal came from a free kick. On the other end the hit the woodwork 5 times, with one comming back into the field straight at a player who finished it. The second game we dominated from start to finish and 3-0 was a weak reflection of what happened on the pitch. Third game we scored early, and that was the only thing we did right that game. We where totaly outplayed and very lucky getting away with a draw. Forth game we played realy well again and altho it doesn't show on the scoreboard we where much better then our opponent. But somehow we lost 0-4. First round Cup we where hopeless again and won 2-0. In conclusion I have no idea how good (or bad) we are because the scores just doesn't feel right. Next months will show me if we can win the games we are better.

We had a very good month with a lot of pleasing results. Against the (then) League leaders Obolon, we where excelent. Next match we where a bit scruppy against relegation candidates Olexandriya. The other matches where all just results. Only the last match of the month we gave away the 0-1 lead against Titan Armyansk in the extra time. A win there would had put us real close to the league leaders. But things remain close at the top, leaving us with good oppertunities to stay in touch for the promotion spots. This month Wellington was in the best of forms, scoring 7 goals in 6 matches.

An other great month for us. We got three good league wins against highly placed oppenents and a massive cup victory agains premier league squad Goverla. Unfortunatly against league low flyers Poltava we couldn't keep our run going, mostly because I had to rotate a couple of key players out after the cup match. I the league a front group of 7 teams are going to battle it out as it seems. And with the current form of Wellington I hope to be amongst them as long as I can.

Our good run in the league continued, winning two and drawing one (with some luck). For the cup Metalist was way to strong for us. Not that i expected to win, but i hoped we could get closer to an upset. But 1-4 was a flattering scoreline for the team.
Biggest problem now is we have a lot of injuries. Its hard to bring a team on the pitch at the moment. Hopefully it won't hurt our promotion bid to much. Because we are doing very good, and currently hold a promotion spot.

Zan&George;: Thanks, its a very pleasing season this far. Most of my signings are working out great and the team is playing very well.
With all the injuries we needed to make something out of nothing. Against Suma we got lucky with a late winner, but we didn't look ourselfs that match. Agianst Odesa we din't start playing until we where 2-0 down at the break, we got back from 3-1 to 3-3 to lose late to an offside goal. Next match we started great and crushed Naftovyk-Ukrnafta scoring twice inside 10 minutes, and adding a third around the half hour mark. I subt all good player after that to keep the few good players I had fit for massive match against Sevastopol. That match we started great aswell taking the lead 0-2. The got back to 2-2 just after the break. But when the got a red card I was hoping to clinch the match in the end. But I got countered at the 92nd minute to get the lose. Now we are heading into the long winter break, which gives my players the oppertunity to recover from there injuried, lying 4th in the league. We going to need a good run to get up back to 2nd (or 3rd if Dymano II get 2nd). With the current finacial situation spending in Januari is out of the option, so I have to do it with what i got.

As it seems doing friendlies isn't something normal in the Ukrain. I normaly let my Assistant arrange Friedlies, but he didn't do anything. So I jumped in and quickly put up some. Because jumping into the competition after doing nothing for 115 days didn't seem wise to me. All in all we got good results, especialy the 4-1 over Sevastopol (current league leaders). After the last friendly Igor Tymchenko got badly injured in training so I will be out of one of my good strikers for the first two months.

Only two matches in March, which we both won. Vasyl Palagnyuk proved himself a worthy sub for Igor Tymchenko, scoring four times in two matches. I think the fact that we did do friendlies and the other teams didn't gave us an edge at the restart of the competition. We climbed two places and are now back in the promotion spots.

We had a perfect month winning all matches, eventho most was against button teams we got the good string of results. With 6 matches to go and 10 points ahead of the number four (Dynamo 2 is third), promotion is almost certain.

After a perfect month last month, we now had a horror month. Luckily our advantage was big enough to secure promotion but we gave away the tilte on the last day. On the final match we did come back from 3-0 to 3-3 and even made the 3-4 (which would have clinced the title) but it got disallowed, and we gave away the game after that.
With the promotion on the boards the stadium needs to be redone removing the standing spota. This will cost us even more money which we don't have.
Our current finacial situation is serious. Lets hope the promotion helps to get more money in. Otherwis it could be over quickly now.

Bennie: The promotion is great but I would have loved the title, real silver work! Looking at my wage budget and what I currently spent I realy hope I can get out of the financial mess I am in.
The end of season and start of new season basicly go without a vacation in the Ukrain. The board was pleased enough with me to grant me a new contract. So I am good for an other season here.
Closing out last season, two of my players Celsinho and Wellington made team of the year, and Wellington also claiming top scorer title.
For the start of the season I got a very royell wage budget compared to what I am spending last season. So I probably will head out on transfer market to sign so extra players in the hope we can avoid the drop this year.
We are now at the start of the first match and my team is mostly complete. I am still working on a defender right. But we just can agree on the wage yet. I feel in a couple of weeks I can get the deal done on my terms, so I just wait it out. The back side of the team is the weak spot. Very hard to get a good GK or defenders. So lets hope we won't get out scored to much.

Besides the relegation battle I am about to enter the only big worry are the finances. I managed to sell one player for a modest fee. But I hope because I am way under my wage budget, the financial situation will clear up because of low spending.

We had a brilliant start of the season. First match we dominated and got a deserved 3-0 win. 2nd Match we where evenly matched but got a cheep penalty on the wistle of the first halve. After the equalizer a great goal from Igor Tymchenko won us the match. 3th game we where outplayed during the first halve, after the whistle starting the 2nd hlave a long ball was missed by there defenders and put away very well by Igor Tymchenko. A dubious red card left them with only 10 players making it easy for us to close out the game. That leaves us pretty on top of the table.
The Igor Tymchenko goals where both listed on the goal of the month.
Our financial situation is improving nor is it getting worse. So no movement there still hopefull we get some improvement in the end.

Any chance of a tactics screenshot? Do you play a narrow diamond with no wingers?
Dyrim
GreekExpress: Still want a defender tho, but we are stronger in the back then I anticipated. Especialy the goalkeeper turns out stronger then scouted. This is the tactc we play.
An other good month went by. We had good game against Arsenal Kyiv. Igor Tymchenko score 2 early goals to set us up nicely, they came back just after the break. But an own goal scored on the counter sealed the deal for us. Against Karpaty we looked comfortable aswell but we forgot to seal the game and got punished in the 90th minute. Probably the best result was the 1-1 draw against Shaktar away from home. After that we hammered Metalist on counter Wellington scoring a second halve hatrick. Last game of the month we where hopeless, only got 1 shot away and it wasn't even on target. Lets hope that this game won't be a beginning of our fall.
Finacialy it keeps going downwards. If things don't change I might be forced to sell some players I don't want to lose.

The defence is still keeping their own, but you do need good full backs with such a tactic.
