1. Extract folder to Documents/Sport Interactive/Football Manager 20##/graphics/kits/put in here!
( If there is no graphics folder there, create "graphics" )
2. FM14 - click 'Load Game'....click 'FM'...click 'Preferences'...click 'Interface'....click 'Clear Cache'...click tick 'Reload skin when confirming changes' (if you first time)....click 'Reload Skin'
2b. FM15 - click 'Preferences'...click 'Interface'....click unticked 'Use caching to decrease page loading times and click tick 'Reload skin when confirming changes in preferences'.....click 'Reload Skin'.

That's because the archive contains a character ":" within folder name, which's not allowed in some OS like MS Windows.
But it is fine if you use a modern decompression software, say WinRAR / 7-Zip / etc, they will change ":" to "_" automatic during decompression.
So, the decompression software you are using, ExtractNow, is not that modern and can't deal with kinda situation.

I had the same problem and think it is that the folder name is too long - once I renamed the folder "Premier League" they showed up just fine in-game.

any idea why this happened? I'm managing in la liga and they work fine, but i am playing man united in the cl and their kit does not display in the match engine. It appears fine on the club screen by the way.

The database that defines the default kit styles and colours (i.e. to generate that kit graphic) has two kits defined, the default away kit, then an alternative away kit for use in the UEFA Champions League. Only the default kit gets swapped for the ss version.
The only fix is to edit the database and start a new game.

Uploaded into folder on a Mac like normally would but the kits don't seem to work like the logos and facepacks I've downloaded.

Rename the kit pack. I changed mine to 'Barc Prem' and the name all fits on one line, and it loads in-game. (I am using mac).
I did the same thing for all my kit files (as some loaded and some didn't) and now they all load.

I have a small problem though. The Arsenal away- and third kit doesen't work in no other tournament than Premier League. So in CL, FA cup etc. it shows only the standard, unlicensed kit. Maybe it's the same with other teams also but that I don't know.
Would be thankful if you could fix it!
