The FC Thun is a small club in the heart of Switzerland founded in 1898.
Thun is considered to be different in multiple ways: The constant lack of funds, the lovely view to the swiss alps from the stadium, the Champions League qualification in 2005 are all worth to be mentioned, but what makes Thun REALLY special is the fact that the club has never won any silverware in more than 115 years of existence!
So, the mission is quite simply: Win everything with a club that has never won anything!

I like to have a living world around me, so I did not only add the two swiss leagues, but all other 12 (twelve!) european leagues with a higher reputation.
I know, it's a bit cheeky to set my coaching attributes to "highest", though there are enough other problems to be solved in the future

Some club information:
The squad is surprisingly broad:
The youth looks also quite promising (for swiss eyes):
As in real life, the good players are loaned, and the talent lies in the youth.
My top 3 players (Sadly, Rojas is loaned from Stuttgart):
My top 3 U18 players:

The first season went very good!! We've been able to finish second place, and if we would not have collapsed in april, we could have won the title!
Key Transfers:
- Juan Carlos (Free Agent) joined us as 24 years old AMC and made a teriffic job as Shadow Striker through the saison
- Second and last transfer due to the wage budget was Sergejs Vorobjovs (Free Agent) as an investment in the future, and AMR/L player when Rojas will leave us after the season:
Given the fact that my team has its potential in the offense and high aggressiveness, I used my favorite formation 4-2-3-1 with control mentality and strong pressing. It seems that inexperienced players also benefit of slower tempo and shorter passing. Worked like a charm not for the first time
The season worked out very well, sadly we broke down in april a bit
Finally: Second place in league, semi final in the swiss cup and not (too much) outclassed in EURO Cup
Some more stats:
Goal of the season: My tactics does not produce a lot of spectacular goals, but from time to time one shines a bit more than the others, as the 1-0 of Juan Carlos against Jablonec:

Top 3 Transfers:
Jak Alnwick (Free Transfer) is our new #1 GK
Jérémy Guillemenot (Free Transfer) is a promising young ST
Andoni Ugarte joined us in the winter transfer window. Young DC to replace players reaching age 30+ next year.
The season started with a CL qualification against Olympique Marseille that brought a result that was hard to swallow:
Away 1:1
Home 2:2 with a late penalty goal for OM
The Europe Cup qualification against PSV was also a really tight affair, and again we've been really unlucky
Home Win 2:1
Away 2:5 with two late goals by PSV
In the rest of the season, we were able to establish a pretty constant top 4 ranking, and in a thrilling last game encounter we were able to reach place 2 against Grasshoppers
The season schedule:
Final standings: League 2nd, Cup 1/4 Final
Statistics:
Ferreira's 1:0 against PSV was selected as Goal of the Season
