Pretty much what you would expect at this level. Though a 2.5k extra to spend on wages should help.

Pretty much the whole team needed replacing, Eoghan Stokes was quite a coup, as an ex-Leeds youth.
So I'm currently 14th, about mid-table, which is fine. I've turned into a bit of a draw specialist, forever going down and coming back.

Finally started stringing some results together. Was my early season slump anything to do with all those friendly losses?

Cheers matey.
With a dip in form in October, I needed to sign a couple of extra players and tweak the formation to get moving. As you can see from the results, it's really worked out. I hoping to keep a playoff push by close of season.

Unless you edit the database or download one, you need to holiday the first season and hope they get promoted. Save on the 23rd as teams are all promoted on the 24th June

I'm not too fussed, I never imagined that I could get there on my first attempt so this gives me a great platform.
SEPTEMBER 2017
As is the norm at this level, a lot of ins and outs, as players are usually given one year contracts. I did give a few new contracts to some star performers from last season; Jamie Tank, Emanuel Kanteh, Luke Dobie, James Poole, Eoghan Stokes and Joe Cracknell.
John Rooney is the one to watch for me, signed on a free after being released from Chester.
A great unbeaten start to the season which sees me up in third already.
Reduced the size of the squad from last season. There was a lot of disharmony from players not getting enough first team action, so a smaller squad should hopefully be a happier squad.

As you can see, the season has taken a turn for the best. Just taken first position in the last game and second round in the FA Trophy. I would love to win both of these in my sophomore season. Richard Tait has proven and inspired signing and Kabongo Tshimanga and James Poole have knocked in 35 goals between them.
With a few clubs sniffing around some of my players, I would be a fool to turn down offers while playing at this level.

Cheers Dan. As you can see below, it's been a great start. The jump in quality isn't really there.
Another large(ish) turnover of players. Absolutely gutted to lose John (brother of Wayne) Rooney. He just would not sign a new contract and was an absolute monster at this level. I'm going to keep my eye on him and see if I can persuade him in the future. Richard Campbell on loan from Wigan is a real star of the future and I'm pretty chuffed to get him on loan. Ruairi Croskery is a real gem. Released by Man Utd and didn't make a single appearance for MK Dons at last season, I'm really hoping to bring the star out of the talent.
An amazing start to the season saw me win 4 on the bounce and has me in second. With a media prediction of 21st and a board expectation to avoid relegation, I am more than confident of beating both. Play-offs? Let's see
Kept a few core players on renewed contracts. Richard Tait had a great season at RB. Kabongo Tshimanga and James Poole both smashed the goals in. If I can get even half as many goals from them, I'd be happy. Joe Cracknell was kept in goal from last year, I probably could have brought in a new, better keeper, but I want to keep a strong core from last season.

As I suspected, the step up in quality really isn't there in the Conference. I'm fairly confident of wrapping up the league and full concentrating on turning pro and having a crack at the football league.
I also had a great run in the FA Cup, reaching the third round and bagging £100k in gate receipts. John Rooney then decided I was good enough to play for and finally re-signed.
