The first Challenge I face as the new rovers boss is been under the transfer embargo, meaning so I'll have to make use of the team I have luckily I know Blackburn really well and have good knowledge of my players and tactics I have in mind.
Rovers have enjoyed great success in the past most noticeably winning the Premiership in 1995 and was a well established premier league mid table club for many years until the recent downfall in 2010 with new owners and now have become a average Championship side.
The beauty of the football club it owns excellent training and academy facilities which are going to be great for the progress of my current and young players and has an incredible 31.500 seat stadium, Ewood Park which Jack Walker built.

As you can see from the picture below the transfer/wage budget shows things are going to be tricky for me and I'll have to work with what I currently have.
The first thing I always look at is the current staff and who isn't good enough. Staff is vital as they help me make decisions throughout and help with the growth of players and the club. From the picture below you can see how I have a ridiculous number off first team staff including physio's and scouting team for a championship club. I will be getting rid of deadwood and from this I can gain some increase in wages. I also don't have a assistant manager which is the most important member so I'll be looking at snapping up a good quality assistant.
I next look at the squad, luckily I have a decent side and if I get the tactics right we can have a good season! I will be looking at players who aren't good enough and can sell to make profit for the club and increase wages. I will work my team around Jordan Rhodes who is the best player in the squad.
I will be doing a lot in the background of this career and wont be posting everything to bore you to death but ill keep you up to date with the most important factors I do!

SO I've began my job evaluating the squad/backroom staff deciding who is staying and leaving, I've gone ahead and signed some staff most importantly a high profile assistant who hopefully joins this week and a few more staff along with him.
I've set up my training for pre season concentrating on high fitness intensity and match training as tactics.
Before I continue I spend several hours setting up my tactics and set pieces.
I've always loved the 4-3-2-1 tactic with most clubs I manage, I will play a controlling, wide and short passing philosophy at the club and hoping to get this fluid before the beginning of the season!
I'll spend the next couple of weeks offloading players and try make some income for the club¬

Had a decent pre season as you can see below only losing 1 game, 10 goals, 2 conceded in 8 games! It has been a focus on fitness but a number of first teams players have been injured during the course of pre season such as main man Jordan Rhodes, Kiota, Evans and Taylor.
Transfer activity wise there has been a lot of changes with the backroom staff and managed to bring in a excellent assistant manager with vast experience Mr Jol, but due to the embargo not many changes have occurred with players, a good sale on one of my youngsters Tomlinson and a few loans going out witch will carry on through the season.
With Wolves coming up first game of the season it's going to be a hard one with a number of first team players still injured and my tactic fluidity not been reached we'll give it all we have!
My target is for the play offs this season but I always end up doing really well in these football manger games so I'll keep you up to date every 10 games I play and hope to post every couple of days or so!

So as promised I'll be posting every 10 games every couple of days the start of the season has been a average one nothing special but sitting 2 points outside play offs I cant complain.
We was knocked out of the cup by Bradford in the second round falling short of expectations they were brilliant give credit to them.
In the league depth in the squad has been a problem and youngsters have had to fill in not been ready, we did 6 games undefeated in the league then in the QPR game we had to play 2 games after Fulham. We then went on to play Charlton we was clear favorites but Conway gave away a penalty and youngster Naymbe put in the worst performance I've ever seen.
Just recently our luck has changed a 3-0 away win at Hull and 1-0 against 2nd placed Ipswich at the time, we completely dominated and Super Rhodes scoring 4/4 games after injury!
For the league Injuries have been a problem Rhodes only returning 7 games in and Chris Taylor after 6 months out!
Best Players so far have been:

Most Disappointing so far have been:
- Ryan Nyambe
- Tommy Spurr
- Danny Guthrie

Goalkeepers Steele has been brilliant I try to play Raya in smaller games both consistent:
Defenders have been solid especially Killa, Duffy, Olsson and Henley!
Midfield my defensive player Williamson has been key Marshall and Conway have been very slow to get going and have need a kick up the arse!
Finally Strikers I want to thank Delfouneso he really has filled Jordan Rhodes boots while he was injured at the beginning but Rhodes 4/4 the goal machine has just started
Hopefully next time I post 20 games in we'll be in the play offs and hopefully Injuries be kind to us! RTID

20 games into the league and my aim of play off position is looking bright but performances have not been to great and if my strikers have been putting the ball in the back of the net we would be sitting comfortably in the automatic play off position
We went on a fantastic 10 match unbeaten run until Bristol City and scored in 10 consecutive matches these performances have earned my players some senior calls ups for the first team of their nation including Rhodes, Hanley, Williamson and others for U21/19
Happy days I was rewarded with a new contract and came second to the manager of the month in October reward for been undefeated
Also thrashed Burnley 2-0 which was great for the fans!
Past 4 games we have been a troubled side and scoring goals is a huge problem.. I've been rotating formation and even tried 2 up front and couldn't finish against a Rotherham side sitting in the relegation zone. I've been rotating my current formation 4-3-2-1 and a 4-2-3-1 to allow Lawrence to play behind Rhodes. I've been very disappointed in Jordan Rhodes 1 goal in the last 11 games! I've even dropped him for Delfouneso (glad this isn't real life) but cant get any of my strikers to finish even with interactions and tactical changes.
As a good note we have kept a unbelievable record of clean sheets this season and kept 6 in the last 10 games credit to the defence they could secure me play offs at this rate
Steele's consistent performances have meant Raya is struggling to get a place in the first team
Defence wise Nyambe & Spurr (wants to leave) have been very poor and Tottenham who are interested in Nyambe I'll be looking to sell in January. The rest have been brilliant Henley been the standout.
Midfield too have been crucial and Taylor back from injury after 6 months has been sensational, also Williamson 17 games played 7.16 rating unreal! Lawrence I'm going to start give more game time.
Strikers as mentioned have been letting me down especially Rhodes, Delfouneso has more goals in less appearances valued at £8.25m and 35k a week wages Rhodes is a huge downfall for the club atm.
As mentioned play offs are looking good and hopefully its a matter of time before Rhodes starts banging them in again! RTID!

The Following 10 games have been a tricky one winning only 4/10 most recently and disappointing we were beating Middlesbrough 1-0 until the 80th minute were they scored twice, this was a vital play off game. Again Rhodes not too impressive I almost sold him for £8.5M as I accept the offer in that week he banged 2 goals in 4 games! I stopped the transfer and thought I was going crazy until he hasn't scored again for awhile his value has declined dramatically since start of the season!
Defence has become quite shaky Killa and Hanley starting to lose chemistry most impressive so far is Marshall who earned himself a new contract, Olsson of course! Delfouneso has been performing well and giving Rhodes a running for the striker spot!
As you can see from above we have slipped down to 6th and things are looking quite congested in the play off zone
Adam Henley my best performing player got a 4 month injury as well as Evans (Picture is a recent one)
Still in position for my aim of play offs with 16 games left to go its going to be very interesting but I just hope I can turn all these draws into wins!

We had a very successful transfer window making over £2M most notably from my worst performing player of the season Nyambe worth £425K sold for £1.7M, I also managed to get Kiota and Spurr out on loan with 100% wages paid for saving me around £20,000 a week.
This allowed me to bring some fresh faces and depth to the squad:

Due to Henley been out for a further 3 months and Nyambe sold I needed to bring in some right backs:
Daryll Lachman current Sheffield Wednesday player as a rotation
Matt Doherty well known to Wolves fans if he does perform I could snatch him up for a cheap price
Milos Veljkovic currently at Spurs U21 high valued player used as a back up for Killa, Duffy and Hanley
Due to Spurr out on loan I brought in Parr at Left back to cover Olsson
Finally Loftus-Cheek player with a good reputation and potential was a good signing for my side, due to injuries and Lowe and Williamson always banned for conduct we need to strength the midfield

Yes I'm highly disappointed too last football manager I secured 2ND first season Rhodes got a £20M transfer to Liverpool... Gutted he's not been performing but I have faith in the lad I keep interacting with him to get back in scoring ways

First of all Lachman and Rhodes ended up getting injured !
I Brought in Paredes on loan from Watford
Leandro Rodriguez currently at Everton with bags of potential I was surprised to get a player of his calibre!
Finally Rhodes has got off the mark and is banging them in! We are now sitting 4th! The best win against Sheffield Wednesday who were top of the league we went to their ground 1-0 down and ended up coming away with all 3 points due to Rhodes!
5/10 win and 1 loss, Also a loss to Chelsea which was a brave fight to say they played a full strength side! Mourinho in the press conference congratulated me!

Did very good business in January in the 3-1 win agasint Derby all my loan players got the best ratings in the squad but this lad in particular:
Loftus-Cheek this lad is unbelievable 15 games for me and a 7.25 rating well played sir
Delight to see Jordan Rhodes finally hit form 6 goals in 6 games two of them he was second half substitute coming back from injury, great to see just before the end of the season and play offs!
Adam Henley still hasn't returned from his 4 month injury he was sensational so far! Corry Evans still out too but returns soon...

52 hours of gameplay I've finished the season and yes we did it! We escaped the dreaded play offs and secured 2nd spot! We could have won the title down to the final day but Reading stopped us on our track well done to Sheffield Wednesday
12 game unbeaten run atm going into next season the squad pulled off a unbelievable final part to the season yes I almost had a heart attack! As you can see Rhodes scored a crazy 4 goals against Bristol City I changed his role to a false 9 and he scored a amazing 10 goals in 8 games...
Due to the amazing form in August I got manager of the month winning 7/7! Rhodes got player of the month
Conway got injured towards the end of the season and Henley never managed to return again
From getting promotion this was lovely to see a £9m transfer budget and 170K in wages to spend! First time we've had money and as on football manager I'm never big sides so I good at handling transfer and getting good quality signings and not throwing money about. Huge adjustments are going to be needed to adapt to life in the premier League its going to be a long summer
Happy I achieved higher than expections! aim was play offs and we gained Automatic ! We higher in our target in the FA Cup getting to the 5th round getting knocked out 2-1 by Chelsea. We fell short though in the Captial one cup getting knocked out by Bradford in the second round
Overall, Fantastic season! The loan players played a huge part in getting second in the league and with some changes to the tactics it was a success!
Next part I'll be doing a analysis on how the players performed

In the league we only lost 7 games the least in the league! Steele kept 18 clean sheets out for 46! Finally we was labelled the best passing and possession team in the league which was my philosophy when I joined the club which was great to see
Goalkeepers as expected Steele played all the games Raya featured in the cup games.
Defenders Adam Henley and Olsson were the best rated players! Shame I lost Henley for the second part of the season
In midfield credit to Paredes didn't really play the lad but when I didn't he was fantastic, Loftus-Cheek the biggest standout trying to sign him up Chelsea want £15m for him... Marshall, Lowe and Williamson all consistent performers throughout the season but Williamsons aggression let him down 17 Yellow cards and 2 red cards yes he was suspended a lot of the time!
For Strikers I dropped Delfouneso to the U21 Rhodes obviously the stand out 23 goals this season took him time to get going
Obviously now this summer I have to evaluate squad get rid of players who are deemed not good enough and bring in some quality ready for the new 2016/17 season !

SO a quick end of season review we moved up 4 places to the 120th best ranked club not much of a change but I managed the achievement of concededing the least amount of goals in a season which I don't think I've ever achieved! Olsson made team of the year which was great for him Jordan Rhodes made it but on the subs bench
Loftus-Cheek won all the credit to the fans getting fans player of the year, signing of the season and young player of the season, there should be a managers player of the season because mine personally was Olsson, every game I felt comfortable with this lad knowing he'll always put in a good performance, he was superb at attacking and defending. If Adam Henley hadn't of got injured for 4 months I think he would have got the award for me!
Anyway, I've started summer and made 4 quality signings already for the club before next season has started, a lot of players on the transfer list to snap up! I'll be adding another season to this Blackburn Rovers road to glory been in Barclays Premier League I'll begin this with transfer activity etc and follow with Pre season, thanks for reading guys been a very successful season

So very nervous for life in the Premier league but I feel suitably prepared and managed to bring in a number of signings which I'll later mention.
We gained 87M in TV rights and the club has grown from been worth 10M > 71M but we are still in a huge 147M debt hoping for a take over this season to clear all the debts like on FM15.
As you can see from below my expectations are avoid relegation which I'm playing safe but always end up over achieving coming from past experiences.
Delighted to see than before the season starts Henley gets injured AGAIN and Akpan is out for awhile
We are predicted 20th (Obviously) AND THANKYOU FOOTBALL MANAGER I will begin the start of the season Home at Liverpool then away to Arsenal
Due to the depands of the Premier League I managed to persuade by board to allow me more coaches I now have the best Defending, Attacking and technical coaches in the league which is going to be brilliant for the development of my players.

We brought in a number of coaches and more scouts to live up to the demands of the premier league, only two staff left the club which I deemed not good enough
Players in/out
We had to strengthen the club in all areas (obviously) and managed to sell the players who didn't perform for me last season, I've managed to keep hold of all my players so far deciding myself which ones to keep or sell.
As you can notice I brought Loftus-Cheek back on loan he was voted player of the year last season! Managed to bring in Niang from AC Milan to cover Rhodes and Marshall! Also, Jesse Lingard from Manchester UTD was a high profile signing. I'm impressed with all the players I brought in and hope they have what it takes to keep us up!
Gutherie who didn't feature much last season sold for 500k, Tommy Spurr who was dreadful I sold for just under 1M, Evans didn't feature much either. Chris Taylor played last season but cant see him performing in the Premier league likewise with Kiota.
The Season is about to begin I wont be posting every 10 games as I felt it was too often so I'll post 20 games which will lead me to Xmas were I can do a update on league performances. I'll do a transfer activity log for January then another report after 18 games which will lead to the end of the season!
