There is so much things that can define average attendances if a teams average automatically drops it doesn't necessarily mean it will be down to the Rangers playing in Div 3, I can see Aberdeen's dropping yet again but that is because we are so shit.

So our average attendance isn't going up and we aren't still amongst the European elite in terms of people coming through the gates?

Try as you might, you cannot take it away from our fans. We've turned out in droves to support our team, home and away, in all competitions, across the country. Berwick to Peterhead, Annan to Elgin, we're turning up. The same can't be said for those of you who took that oh-so-high place upon your moral high-horse and demanded that Rangers not be admitted to the SPL or season tickets won't be bought... then you didn't buy them anyway. That same moral high-horse that saw you brand one of the early weekend's of the season "sell-out Saturday"... only one ground saw an attendance that broke 50%.

We're putting our money where our mouths are. If that continues to be the case, who knows but I've got a funny feeling we will be seeing hefty crowds every time we run out at Ibrox. However, the bastions of sporting integrity that are the fans of the SPL are yet to show face, strangely enough.

I would expect nothing less from him, in all fairness. Permanently confused.

Well, less people attended the first game of the season at Parkhead, flag-raising ceremony and all, than descended on Ibrox for the first Third Division game. You also sold less than 15,000 tickets for the Raith Rovers League Cup game and about a third of those people didn't turn up with your on-the-night attendance being less than 10,000. One night later, Rangers sell just shy of 30,000 tickets for a game in the same round. No arguments about price as your tickets actually went for less than ours did, I believe season ticket holders were charged £9 for theirs.

You've sat there and told me all that, yet there's absolutely hee-haw in regards to how Newco being in the third division is effecting Celtic. There was no doubt that you lot would turn out in your hordes at the start of all this, pity it didn't happen when oldco was struggling last season though, eh? From October onwards attendances won't be so merry, imo anyway - lets see.

Season ticket holders went for £12, £15 for general punters. F*ck knows about your game, got told alot of tickets were given away for free though.

£13 for ST, £15 general sale and still 20,000 more through the gates than the night before across the city. Also, you were told a lot of horseshit about tickets going for free.

The proof of the pudding is in the tasting and it tastes a lot like people aren't going to your domestic games now as there is no competition for the title. No Rangers, no Old Firm games, no last day finales. You even had "fans" running to the papers about the cost of your season tickets remaining the same despite the lack of OF games. Dress it up however you want, between last season and now, you have less fans turning up to your domestic games. The only difference? No Rangers. Doesn't take an analytical genius to work it out.

Thistle v Celtic will be the Premier game in the 2nd city of the empire if things go as they are. Looking forward to Sky chucking the money at us for it.

Why the sudden obsession with attendances from your mob anyway? We could have 40,000 come through to Parkhead every week and the club would still make more money off it than what your lot are making down the road.

If we weren't flogging SPL tickets for £29 I'm sure we'd have a lot more coming through the gates but hey ho, why should I mention any of this when zombies still want to feel as if they have a purpose and an importance in Scottish football?

Enjoy Forres today, it's a ground I've never visited before.

You're the reason we never won today.

Aye, poor show from Hibs yesterday. We've been picking up points without playing very well so a result like this was always on the cards.

Fucking Croc has cancelled his trains 2 weeks before the trip leaving everyone in limbo!

I am not pleased. Just cancelled our hotels. Thank christ we didn't manage to get tickets for either game, haha!

Home game against Dundee this afternoon, hopefully a good chance for 3 points but you never know with Hibs.

I reckon our unbeaten run will come to an end today. Morton are on a 4-game winning streak and we've gradually got worse and worse. However, we have Welsh and Doolan back for the first time in a few games, so that might be what we were missing.

Good win for the Cabbage especially us keeping a clean sheet for the first time in ages, Doyle and Griffiths look a good partnership as well. Dundee really don't look cut out for this level though, which is a shame as we really need two strong Dundee clubs.

While it was decidedly poor from us, Morton took their chances when they did - and we didn't, end of story.

I thought that despite their third goal, Morton weren't that great, particularly from open play, when we went a man down we came right back into it and they struggled to deal with us. Perhaps we should have had that penalty but it's hard to say when it's up the other end.

As for the Murray red, I can't really complain, I thought at first it was a typical Murray challenge, a little mis-timed but not malicious, maybe it was but it was still foolish to go in the way he did on a yellow.

All good runs come to an end at some point, we've now got to pick ourselves up for the semi next week and get it out of our system in time for Airdrie at Firhill on the 20th.

Seems a few of our players were out on Saturday night celebrating their win and somebody punched Gary Deegan in the face, breaking his jaw.

Edit: Seems The Sun ran a full page story about today which included a nice big picture of Lewis Stevenson, who wasn't even there...

Steven Fletcher thought he had doubled Scotland's advantage but an eagle-eyed referee's assistant ruled the ball had just gone out before the striker bundled home.

The brilliant Bale then earned Wales a lifeline, driving into the area before being clipped by Maloney.

Can't stand the BBC.

Firstly, there is no way in hell the ball went out for the disallowed Scotland goal, it wasn't even close to being out.

Secondly, Maloney didn't clip Bale, he blatantly dived, there was no contact at all.

He clipped his right leg which then hit the back of his left leg.

I believe he dived.

Anyway, it's semi-final day today of the Ramsdens Cup. Cowdenbeath, here we come.

Surprised Scotland haven't got rid of Levein yet, his decision to leave Commons out for so long and then call him up as a replacement and put him straight into his first 11 shows how out of his depth he is.

Levein's a joke.

Still not sure who's worse between him and Chris Coleman, though.

I could get used to these Friday night games, 4-0 away at Motherwell

The scoreline flatters us a bit though, two of our goals were penalties and the 4th was in injury time. Motherwell had a penalty themselves which they missed and had a good goal chalked off.

Nothing against Celtic but it was great seeing the lose yesterday, their going to win the league anyway but it'd be a shame for them to be well clear of the pack before we'd even got to November, especially with us setting the pace for the other 11 sides.
