Hi Guys and welcome to my first ever Football Manager Story. I have been playing FM/CM since 1997 and even tho I have had my ups and downs I love this game and always want
more. This year I thought I would share my experiences with you and I just hope you enjoy.
My management Career will be starting at The Villans Aston Villa. I don't know why I decided Villa other then I always play as them on FIFA as I love a challenge. So this will be my toughest one yet. Before I go on I have no idea how to put pics or screenshots on here so any help would be appreciated.
Here is the history of Aston Villa
As you can see they are a very successful team even winning Old Big Ears once in 1982. But they have not won a Big trophy since then only a League Cup and a couple Intertotos.
My aim is to stay in the league but after seen my squad I ain't to impressed:
Not a lot of creativity in the middle and some players who I think are over the hill but we will see. I think I need a miracle but we will see as some players will be leaving in the summer oh I almost forgot:
As you can see £201k to spend so like I said miracle.
Well hope you enjoyed my first post hopefully will get better in my next post will show you my transfers Ins and Outs also my Pre-Season friendlies.
Till next time guys

Please don't be like Garde and neglect Adama, the boy is magic, has all the ability in the world Villa have completely destroyed him this season!
Good luck with this mate, the squad isn't that bad definitely enough quality to stay up.

For some reason Ayew was in the U-21s and Adama is great but I am worried about his work rate at the moment but he is there in the first team

Well today I will show you my transfers Ins and Outs and there are some surprise departures but I am sure I won't regret. I will also show you my Pre-Season friendlies with some ups and down results. So lets get started.
In my last post I said I thought we were short in midfield especially in the centre with no creativity so that and maybe a centre back was my priority and I think I achieved it. But first I will show you my departures:
Yes Brad Guzan is my biggest departure the only player I thought was a certain First Teamer. Everton offered 8 Million for him I rejected I negotiated to 14 Million and by my surprise they accepted must be desperate to replace Tim Howard.
Gabby Agbonlahor I was looking to sell as he just didn't fit in to my plans. His finishing is horrendous and he is very injury Prone so I wanted to sell and offered him to clubs for 11 Million and Newcastle stupidly offered that so bye bye Gabby.
Carlos Sanchez I sold as I had two good DMs in Gueye and Westwood plus my new signing so he was just surplus to requirements and I got a good return for him at 9.25 Million
Charles N'Zogbia I don't even got to tell you why I sold him, Utter rubbish in my opinion
Overall I sold 5 players as Philippe Senderos went to Norwich for 3.3 Million so I got a grand total of 45 Million will show you screenshots right now as I will show you my Ins:
As you can see I brought in 16 players which seems a lot but 6 of them are going straight in to my under 18s. I wont show you every player but will show you my little gems that I think will keep me up:
Predrag Rajkovic is in my opinion one of the best young goalkeepers in the game who I think can become one of the best in the world, When I knew Guzan was going I knew he was the one I wanted due to been quite cheap and just his ability. Already a first team player at his old club he will be my first choice for Villa. His command of the area and his reflexes will help win me games this season.
No introduction needed for this man he has done it all in the game and will be new captain. Barry will be my DM helping out the back four. My only worry is his speed so I have him teaching stay back at all times but with his passing ability he will pick out anyone.
Ashley Cole England's greatest Left Back with 107 caps. Personally I hate the bloke as I support Arsenal but you cant deny how good he is and even at 34 years of age he still has it. He will be my first choice and I have him tutoring Amvai as his experience will be crucial to make the young Frenchman to take over from him in the future.
Mikel Arteta is my experience in the middle and that creative presence I wanted. Yes he is 33 years old but as a deep lying playmaker same his passing is just like Barry precise and create something out of nothing.
My surprise signing I didn't even know this bloke was available and he is S**t hot still he can score, pass he has everything and is only 29 years old so still a good few years left. Only problem is he is quite prone to injuries so he will be on light training which might mean he only plays half of the games due to fitness.
This is my biggest Signing and my biggest bargain, Perez got listed about 3 days after Gabby signed for The Toon and when I scouted him and looked at his attributes I thought he was the perfect signing to lead the line. His dribbling finishing first touch in fact everything is perfect for a False 9 so when I saw him for sale I pounced
That's my gems that I hope will keep me up. If you want screenshots of the other signings let me know.
Right lets get to my Pre-Season games. As I said earlier on we had our ups and downs but for me it's about getting fitness and the tactics spot on in time for the season so the results didn't bother me:
5 wins 2 defeats ok sounds like a good Pre-Season but the games against Excelsior and Porto was rubbish we got battered and made me think that this was going be harder then I thought.
Oh before I go I was offered this player by Chelsea do you think I should go for him??
Last but not least when desperate times calls for desperate measures lol
Good Luck Swansea lol
Well guys I will be playing my first league game today at some point so I might be able to do an update later. Until then I hope you have enjoyed my story sorry if I have gone on.

A takeover and he wants to pump in lucrative funds well then this could change everything. Buuutttttt:
A day later they could not agree a fee. What you playing at Lerner just sell the bloody club and leave you have ruined it. Anyways back to the August games.
These were my first 4 games in August:
The first 4 league games look tough. Southampton are a great side they finished an impressive 7th place last year and even tho they have lost two very good players in Clyne and Schneiderlin they are still a great side, Watford is already a 6 pointer in my eyes as they are also fighting to avoid relegation and away from home it could be tough, After that another 6 pointer against The Sky Bet Championship Champions Bournemouth. As were home I was pretty confident of getting a good result, last but not least Man City do I need to say anything?? They are probably the best team in the League and been away at the Etihad it would take a miracle to get anything. My realistic predictions would be to get 4 points out of 12 maybe 5 anymore would be a bonus.
The Capital One Cup has given us an easy draw away to Chesterfield so I will put some of my youngsters out to give them game time and some of my fringe players.
Right here is my August Results:
This game was frustrating as we dominated the first 20 minutes and then we concede after a mistake from Ashley Cole but 5 minutes later Adama who Gaz12321 will be happy to see set up Ayoze with a great through ball to level. We dominated possession and had a few chances to win it from Veretout and Vadillo but we couldn't finish. All in all I was happy with a point against a good side.
All I can say is we were lucky or Watford blew it. In the first 20 minutes it was even both sides having chances and Adama scoring a great goal but then once again a silly mistake this time by Corchia let Watford score on the counter through Anya. Then 3 minutes later a simple corner was not delt with and Cathcart scored a simple tap in. Watford were the better team in the first half they battered us 14 shots to our 3 I was dreading the second half and I gave my team the hairdryer treatment to get a reaction and it worked a treat we were the better team in the second half and scored to crackers from Gourcuff and Veretout we even missed a penalty (Cheers Sinclair) to say I was happy and relieved is an understatement. To cap it off Gareth Barry said this:
Cheers Captain
My next match was against Bournemouth and after that result I was confident to get back to back wins.
Simply put we battered them from start to finish how it only finished 2-1 I will never know we had chance after chance but for bad finishing and good goalkeeping we only scored two. Adama carried on his great form to the season and Arteta found the net at last. Cole kept up his lack of concentration by giving away a penalty to give Bournemouth hope but was only a consolation goal.
So my next opponent was Chesterfield with it been the Capital One Cup I decided to give fringe players and Youngsters a chance to impress and game time.
3-0 but a poor performance Chesterfield had there chances just couldn't finish or Rajkovic made good saves. Was nice see my young strike Gabriel Jesus score on his debut and Vadillo get his first. Considering we got Man City next it was not great.
One WORD: AGUERO.
Well guys thats my August Fixtures and 7 points out of 12 is a great start as they were tricky games but still a lot of work to do. Here is the table:
7th is a great start hope I can carry it on but I have a tough month ahead.
Another 3 tough matches with two title contenders Liverpool and Arsenal at Home and another relegation candidate Sunderland Away with a Capital One Cup match away to Chelsea its going be exciting lol.
Till next time guys
Dan
