August Manager of the Month.
Tyler Walker - Young Play of the Month.
Tom Elliot - Damaged his cruciate ligaments in pre season, out for 9 months.
SUMMARY
A ridiculously good start, barring the Forest match - which I guess was expected. Signings are fitting in well - Tyler Walker and Le Rouzic in particular. George Francomb is the real star this first month.

Le Rouzic out for two months after breaking his collarbone in Northampton. Big big loss.
Barry Fuller also out, four weeks.
SUMMARY
A mixed month. Out on penalties against Southend in the JPT, followed by a great fightback against Mansfield. Finally lost in the league in the Luton match, went 4-1 down and came back late on, poor performance though. Failed to score for the first time in a match against Northampton, boring game. Losing Le Rouzic is a big worry. Clinging on to top.

A good month, offered a new contract which I accepted. Mini injury crisis, Francomb is out for two weeks - he is on fire with 10 assists and 6 MoMs so any game without him is a blow. But he's agreed a new deal which is good news. Meades out for 7 weeks, Schoenecker out for 5 months, Rouzic still out. Still top, FA Cup First Round coming up. Hoping the form keeps up.

Tyler Walker - Young Player of the Month.
Frankie Sutherland brought in on loan.
SUMMARY
Another good month, barring the 1-0 defeat at home to Wycombe - completely outplayed in that. My four defeats in the league were against: 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Great win over Bury, getting a couple of clean sheets is good, defence has been awful this season - luckily the attack is superb. Le Rouzic being back will hopefully help with clean sheets. Scunthorpe in the next round of FA Cup, at home, fingers crossed.

Newcastle in the Third Round of FA Cup.
Tyler Walker out for two weeks, will miss the Newcastle game.
SUMMARY
Month started brilliantly with that win against Scunthorpe. Then two average draws, a good home win followed by an awful defeat at Exeter which knocks me off the top for the first time since August. My reward for my FA Cup win is a tie at home to Newcastle, bring it on! Walker will miss it, which is a big loss.

Injury crisis is still continuing: Andy Barcham now out for 5 weeks, just when he was getting in the team! Akinfenwa out, but he should be back soon, not having a great season anyway, Sutherland loan deal terminated due to injury, Toonga out with a hernia.
Third in manager of the month.
Martin Samuelsen and Craig Tanner brought in on loan.
SUMMARY
The Newcastle match is a bitter subject. Took the lead against them at home, then, THEN, in the 90th minute, after a brilliant job holding on, defender lost Sissoko and he headers it in unmarked. Such a blow. Went to the replay not optimistic, took the lead twice at St James' Park, but then they came charging forward and won 4-2. Team's effort was fantastic, delighted with them. Yeovil draw was poor, but top of the league. Need a really good month to run away at the top. Tough games coming up.

Manager of the Month.

Fantastic month, promotion!! 15 games unbeaten. Despite this season going well I can see next season being tough, but looking forward to it! Got a lot of contracts to renew so hopefully a promotion will convince people to stay. A lot of deadwood to remove too.

CHAMPIONS!
League 2 Manager of the Year.
Francomb PFA League 2 Player of the Year - delighted for him, star of the season.
Conceded the least goals in the league.
Walker League 2 top goal scorer with 26 goals.
Francomb, Meades and Walker in League 2 Team of the Year.
SUMMARY
A decent end to the season, two awful away defeats in a row though. Home record was fantastic with only one defeat in the league, and that was to Wycombe to a last minute goal! Brilliant season overall, surprising everybody including myself. Next season will be tough (my players disagree with me thinking we can avoid the drop, pessimists!). Got new deals sorted for my star players, my captain Fuller will probably be leaving so that's an issue to deal with. Need real quality to come in if I'm to stay up and hoping Francomb can keep up his amazing form. If I can get Tyler Walker on for another year that'd be amazing. Onwards and upwards!

PRE SEASON 2016
TRANSFERS
Tyler Walker and Lewis Kinsella extended their loan deals for another season.
RESULTS
SUMMARY
A pretty good pre season, unlucky to lose 2-0 against Southampton, great win against Watford and three easy wins. Delighted to get Tyler Walker in again, 9 goals in pre season. I am always hesitant to spend too much money and focus on free transfers/loan deals, plus made some money from sales. Very happy with all my transfers, Threlkeld is a great signing, mainly bought in defenders as I'm expecting a tough ride this season. All my main strikers are in on loan, had a few nearly joining permanently but there were work permit problems and a struggle to find one I was willing to spend a big chunk of my wage budget. Looking forward to taking on the evil of MK Dons this season!

Francomb has declined a little, but Threlkeld is happily taking over, great start for him.
SUMMARY
Up and down start. Infuriated with the 0-0 draw against Coventry but more angry at the 2-0 defeat at Gillingham, utterly abysmal. Unlucky against Fulham, two easy wins and a couple of good draws. Based on the first month I'm confident of staying up whilst being competitive with others in this league.

A few of youngsters plus Odelusi to try and improve things up front.
MISC
I've been moving my coaching team around, replacing a few of them who were very average, plus the board have allowed me to add more.
3-0 down to draw 3-3, brilliant stuff.
SUMMARY
An incredibly unlucky month. Colchester was just a poor performance really, 2-1 up to lose 4-2. Great win over Scunthorpe, a fantastic draw against Southend. But a very undeserved defeat at home to Barnsley, who were top at the time but we hit the bar twice and had many chances to destroy them. Luton were expected to thrash me and went 3-0 up after 36 minutes, but the team came back superbly. Injuries are mounting too: Rouzic out for 6 weeks, star signing Threlkeld out for 4 weeks, Kinsella out for 5 weeks and Bennett out for 3 weeks. Missing them all!

Barwell away in the FA Cup First Round
SUMMARY
A much better month, unbeaten and up to 8th. Got a habit of trying to throw our wins away though, as with Bradford we went 2-0 up, threw it away and got a last minute penalty to win it. Threw away 1-0 leads against Doncaster and Huddersfield. Hoping to get a settled lineup sorted, but injuries aren't helping. I'm not minding the scrappy wins, as after all - a win is a win!

SUMMARY
YAS! Beating MK Dons is always wonderful, they equalised in the 87th minute but Akinfenwa on his return got his second goal in the 88th minute. And then we beat 2nd placed Portsmouth 2-0 with a great display. Switching from 4-3-3 to 4-5-1 against the bigger teams seems to help a lot. Strikers are struggling a bit, need to improve on that. Shrewsbury defeat was a blip.

CURRENT SQUAD
Haven't shown a screenshot of my squad yet. Here you can see the thousands of midfielders/strikers I have. The other two players cut off the screen (1280 screen, sorry!) are my keepers James Shea and Jean-Marc Le Rouzic.
MISC
Carlisle away in the FA Cup Third Round.
Extended my contract at the club.
SUMMARY
A good month soured by a woeful performance against Burton. Into the playoff zone, officially in the playoff battle. Maybe I have high standards but I'm still disappointed, we're not playing how I like: it's scrappy, goals aren't going in enough and our attacking movement is poor. They'll be some tinkering done. My squad is a bit of mess I bought too many players in I think, I've learnt from that and I'll have a clean up in the summer. Hope I can get a cup run going!

SUMMARY
Fantastic month! Scoring goals, playing better and unbeaten. Great cup run aided by easier ties, now the challenge against Everton, a home game though! Plus Everton are in a relegation battle, it's a big chance for us to get to the Sixth Round and maybe Wembley. 3rd in the league at the moment, I'm now in a title challenge! Me and Wycombe both went up and are doing so well, my 3-2 win against them was one of our best performances. Let's hope this all continues.

Nine men with Reeves and Baysal sent off, and took them to extra time. So proud of the team.
SUMMARY
Wow. Devastated by the Everton game, we did so well in the first match. Taking them to extra time with nine men was a brilliant achievement. If Reeves didn't do a stupid two footed lunge we'd have won it I bet, but oh well! Not the greatest of months but we are 2nd in the league so I can't complain, it's going to be a tough few months. But if we can take Everton to extra time for nine men we can do anything!

SUMMARY
One word: slump. And this is some slump. I have no idea what's happening, no one can score, luck is against us and there's been some pretty dire performances. I suppose after all the overachievement this season it had to happen. Just about in the playoff zone, would love to stay there but at this rate I'll be at mid table. I thought I had got past my tough run, losing and drawing to teams who are in a relegation battle. Topped off with an awful draw against bottom placed Port Vale. MK Dons and Portsmouth away coming up, Wycombe at home, Shrewsbury away. No idea how this is going to end, I want the playoffs so badly. I doubt I'd go up, but the experience would be great.
