SUMMARY
A superb month, marred by a poor defeat away at Brighton. The Fulham match was glorious, brilliant attacking football with a Davies hat trick. 9 goals this season for him, took him a few matches to get going but he's on fire now. Finally I have strikers scoring!! 2nd placed Norwich coming up, away from home so that'll be tough, away form is on and off at the moment. To be fair some of the games I haven't been playing well, but our defending is much better and so is our attack so we are taking the chances we're given.

SUMMARY
A pretty good month again. Nice wins against Forest and Huddersfield, we were unlucky against Norwich conceding in the last minute and the Blackburn game was woeful - threw away another win. Pirulo really did earn his new contract, deserved a pay rise but I made sure his minimum release fee clause was higher - £16M. He's absolutely brilliant, huge potential to become even better - Premier League quality. Hovering around in the playoff zone at the moment, need to learn to hold on to our leads and maintain consistency.

Ergh, That's how to describe the month. Last season's performances are creeping in, the draw specialists are back! Sluggish performances, not scoring enough but we're defending well at least. Guess I need to tinker a little bit. Still in the playoff zones just about but I'm hoping we don't regret the missed opportunities to run away from the teams below. Superb win over Watford though, Derby coming up, would be nice to get back on good form with a win against them.

SUMMARY
A roller coaster of a month! Top of the table Derby went 3-0 up against me after 20 minutes, stunned. Managed to get it back to 2-3 but conceded again, a shambles at the back, inflicting my first home defeat of the season. A nice easy cup win against Rotherham followed by a thriller at the Molineux. 3-1 down after 33 minutes, same circumstances with Derby - woeful defending, all three goals easily avoidable. Then another comeback to get it to 3-3, conceded again, then Samu got his hat trick in the last minute. Leicester we were 1-0 down at HT, again the mistakes being made. HT I decided I need to do something really different, so we went 5-3-2 with two wingbacks and 3 CMs, which produced a stunning second half performance, Obika hat trick killed them. Set up 5-3-2 away against playoff rivals Ipswich and controlled the game. Inspired performance from Hewitt who earned a new deal. Things might be clicking again, beginning of the month I fixed my scoring problems but doing that broke my defending! 5-3-2 might be the way to go! Playoffs are quite close as you can clearly see!

SUMMARY
A brilliant month! Marred only by the 1-0 defeat at Leeds and the 3-4 against Spurs, in which we put in a spirited performance. 0-3 down after 37 mins, Obika got a goal before HT but Lamela made it 1-4 on 52 mins. We had a good go at it though and got it to 3-4 with 10 mins to go with Obika getting a hat trick, sadly we couldn't find an equaliser. Obika earned a new deal after that! A lucky win against Barnsley followed by a 5-1 destruction of bottom placed Millwall. Trying to keep our feet on the ground, we've pulled 10 points away and entered the automatic places, trying to get the Premier League out of my mind and focus. Tough games to come, the 5-3-2 is doing well though and the players are on a high!

SUMMARY
Frustrating month, but overall it could have been so much worse. Tiredness in the team I feel, and after a good month this was due! Tough opposition but we started with an easy 2-0 win, then a infuriating 2-3 defeat away at Fulham. Then three draws in a row, throwing away winning positions which is annoying due to these teams being very near me. Better than losing though! Huge game at home to top of the table Norwich next, a win would be amazing. After that we have a few teams below 19th, which would seem easy, but they're fighting for their lives so it'll be tough on the legs! Can we do it, let's see!

Well well well. A pretty good month barred by two 2-0 defeats, I expected it against Watford (despite deserving a point) but the Blackburn defeat was poor. The wonderful 2-1 win over Norwich and the 3-0 win over Sheff Wed were the highlights of the month. So on the final day we'll be taking on Peterborough (10th) at home, whereas Norwich are away at Forest (14th). Also Sheff Utd have Sheff Wed, who organised the schedule?! My team are shattered, would be wonderful to get 2nd but I'm just delighted to reach the playoffs.

SUMMARY
So delighted. Deep down I was aiming for playoff zone, or around there, with the players bought in and tweaks to the style of play I thought it was possible despite everyone still predicted relegation, but I didn't expect automatic promotion. Last day of the season too, was nervous pressing continue after I beat Peterborough haha! Given new deals for a few of my star players to make sure they don't leave and have nice clauses incase things go terribly, compared to last season their wages are much higher! But I now have an £8M transfer budget and £500kp/m to spend on wages, no idea how to spend it! Well I have actually, Bolingoli is joining permanently after another brilliant season, the fans adore him so it was a no brainer. No doubt however that we have a horrendously tough season coming up, Bristol City only just about got relegated so that gives me hope that we can do it. Part one of my goal is complete, we're back in the Premier League, 18 years into the club existence after the MK Dons disaster. Now begins the next part, maintaining Premier League status and a FA Cup run. The additional bonus that makes the first part's completion even sweeter, we're moving back to Plough Lane! Premier League and Plough Lane, part one is done!

SUMMARY
Pre season was very experimental, trying loads of different things and new players coming in. Last season we played counter attacking or we tried to control the game, I imagine we'll try counter attacking but it's going to be very defensive and basic, hence the 4-4-2. Signings have been pretty good, the new deals for my current stars meant the wage budget took a hit, the club aren't in a great position due to the loan taken out for the stadium. Luka Belic and John Langford are bought in to help with my firing line - Pirulo the only quality striker atm. Pedro is an experienced midfielder who will offer a lot I think. Ntihe, Lees and Ousmali strengthening the defence. Isi a backup midfielder and of course Bolingoli permanently joining. Still a little bit left in the budget so I may bring in another player or two, depending how the season starts. This'll be a hard season!

SUMMARY
Not a bad start I guess, it could have been worse. Started off with an injury crisis which is always nice and welcome in a first season in the Premier League!!! Thrashed 3-0 at Spurs, I had no shots at all. Drew 0-0 at home to Villa in an uneventful game, tweaked around a bit switching to 4-1-4-1 and destroyed West Brom 3-1 away - delighted with that. Easy win over Southend followed by City getting a very jammy win over me. I took the lead early on, held on until they equalised, then defended brilliantly the rest of the half and then Barkley scored from 20 yards. City have won all their matches yet we gave them a tough battle. So tough that we had seven players booked and got a fine! Next up is United at Old Trafford, then Liverpool at home. I guess there are no easy games this season but come on, this fixture list is terrible!

A tough month but it ended with a superb victory over my previous nemesis Everton. Superb counter attacking display. Deserved defeat at Old Trafford, a lucky but superb draw at home to Liverpool, fielded a few fringe players/youngsters against West Brom and lost quite convincingly despite the deceptive scoreline. But it wasn't a priority. Another short month coming up, only three matches, my players are in need of rest already!

SUMMARY
Three games and no defeats! On another day I would have beaten Palace, a brilliant performance over Newcastle marred by poor defending at the end in which we conceded two goals, Newcastle have lost their last seven in a row (five in a row when I played them) and they're managed by Steve Evans which made victory sweeter. Defended very well against Chelsea, despite dominating they never looked like scoring. I still haven't won at our new home of New Plough Lane yet!

SUMMARY
A fairly common scoreline throughout this month! We've become the draw specialists again and it's very welcome in this league! Swansea was a poor performance, the other three were superb performances. I've begun switching between the 4-1-4-1 and 4-3-3 Narrow like I did in the first season and both those seem to be working well, goals have dried up a little but we're having a lot of chances. Still without a home win but we've only lost once there too, if we keep playing the way we are we should get a home win soon. Losing Sean Goss is really frustrating but thankfully we've got good cover.

SUMMARY
A really good December with only one defeat, and only two wins but still! FINALLY A HOME WIN! The 2-2 draw against Arsenal was the highlight of the month, 0-2 down and we could have won it at the end. The Southampton game was a dull draw, Derby was a lucky win and Spurs we equalised in the final minute which was a wonderful feeling - hard fought. Ousimali is becoming a really good signing, superb month for him. Robin Heller is also a superb goalkeeper, we wouldn't be doing this well without him.
