I try myself, but I'm not sure if the result is as expected ( saved with transparency ) ??? Tried with software Irfanview + Irfanpaint plugin.

Irfanview is good only as image viewer (I'm using it).If you can't use Photoshop,try with Gimp.Gimp sucks too,but it's better than Irfanpaint.
