These are the tactics that I'll rotate around in what I think is gonna be best for that particular game!

So we kicked off the month of July with the UEFA Champions League Best Placed Third Qualifying Phase draw (yes very long name indeed) where I meet up against one of the teams I was hoping to avoid, AS Monaco.
But still, regardless of that we were hoping to get a good start in the OFB-Cup and the tipico-Bundesliga and try to do our best against the Monegasques.
All I can say is that things could have been rosier for this 1st month of the season and we paid dearly for our lack of quality up front, which hopefully should be sorted by the 2nd leg with Monaco. Wasn't expecting much against the men leaded by Leonardo Jardim but who knows, maybe that away goal will save us in the end!

Well, we won't find out untill we face them will we?

Yea I could tell, good luck with your Aston Villa save though!

Just ignore him, he puts pointless comments like that up all the time

Fair enough man, I'm loving your BSC save with Shedender by the way, keep up the good work with Berwick!

Simply put we CANNOT, under ANY circumstances, lose to a newly promoted team like Mattersburg.
For 1 moment in the game against Monaco I was with hopes of making it but we only managed a draw so we failed to do what the board asked, maybe we'll make up for it in the Europa League, where we got Be'er-Sheva from Israel, meaning that Group Stage should be somewhere we can definitely reach.
Nevertheless we try to get back to fighting for the title but a red card by Engel ruined our plans against Ried which resulted in that result, but we kept held our heads high and got us back up there fighting for the top... Although we make it through in the UEFA Europa League Group Stage, this month is resumed by 1 image and 1 word...
So far the title race is on, and although we had a slow start, we are where we belong, but the season has just kicked off and a lot can happen meanwhile...
These are the teams we'll be facing in the UEFA Europa League Group Stage, definitely a tough group, but with a bit of luck and hardwork we have a chance of pulling an upset here!
PS: You can tell that I'm changing the formats of this, and any comment on if this looks good or changes I could do would be awesome because it's my first FM Story that I post around here, so any tips are welcome.

This was a rather short month, in terms of games, because of the international break that occured in the first half of the month, but it seemed to let the players think about what was going wrong for us and attack this month in full strength. This was proven where we got a good result against Shakhtar and continue an inspiring run of form in the league and in the cup where we knocked out Schwaz.
That good run of form allowed us to continue in 1st place with 1 game in hand, which allows us to keep our direct rivals (Austria Wien and Red Bull Salzburg) at bay for now. But the calendar is looking a bit hectic and tough games await us, games that can decide the title or who gets through from our UEFA Europa League Group Stage.
1 game doesn't mean much so far but that draw could prove essential in the end, we must keep fighting for now though and remain focused. We are going to Liberec to face Slovan and then we have 2 VERY complicated games against Klopp's Liverpool.
Looking at the results and goalscorer, it was pretty clear who was going to take the award in the first place: Thomas Murg. I wasn't really counting on him for this season but the games I did put him as a starter, he showed his value and he is making my job as a manager a tough one in terms of picking my team, in the good way of it of course. May he keep it up for now!
Thank you to everyone that is reading this, and any suggestions will be taken into consideration, so please leave some around and I'll try to improve based on them!
