Matchday Graphics issues

Hi All

I've been playing footie manager on my PC since the hour it came out in November. I built a new PC with an I-7 processor, 32gb ram (1833 MHZ), Radeon R9 280 graphics card, 2tb of hard drive and a Z97 gaming 5 motherboard. My PC is a bit of a beast if I must say so myself!

FM was running perfectly on all the high settings and in preferences, it says I have 5 star graphics perforamnce. However latley, even on medium settings, my 3d match engine lags big time. Even when continuing the game, the banner with the processing information is not smooth. I just don't get it. I have tried to fiddle with the radeon catalyst control center to improve things but nothing changes.

Does anyone know why this might be? I have tried all other games on my pc which require a much higher GFX card performance and they all run fine!

Have you checked to see if all your drivers are up to date?

Yep - I updated all my drivers and Radeon installed Raptr, which didn't help at all.

I tried stripping back my drivers to the start. I then installed Catalyst control centre = no joy. Then i re-installed Raptr again. And it is still not working.

If all my other games were screwed as well I would assume that it is the GFX card. But they are fine, so I can only conclude something is up with FM? I have tried 3 different skins as well. Nothing.
