NB: I tried to add this as a file, but it just said "Bad Gateway" over and over.

More than just a bunch of new leagues and teams. Aims to provide as much detail as possible for the English Lower League system with full teams, faces and competitions reflecting real life.

Progress so far: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T1jzE_TtHg6Bty61Km1ZcqyDuYrAcxLz6067gn6XcBU/edit?usp=sharing

There are many English Lower League updates for Football Manager, and I've tried a lot over the years, but most of them don't have accurate leagues, or league rules, or miss out cups, and most miss out real players. None I've seen have attempted reserve and youth leagues. The aim is to change all that and provide something with the same level of detail you would find in the official leagues included with the game.

I'd really like people to give this a try, so I'm offering up a very early version for feedback.

There are two files. You only really need the database file, but the graphics are there if you want realistic logos, faces and the like.

I'd recommend starting as Bedworth United in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League (tier 7) because it's one of the most fully complete teams, with a full roster for their first team, U21 team and U18 team, and there's a whole load of real cups to enter throughout the season. Unfortunately U21 and U18 leagues, while in the database, are not yet playable due to my lack of knowledge of the advanced rules editor.

Feedback welcome of course.

Updates

ALPHA 0.18
Added complete tier 11 structure for main pyramid divisions, 43 divisions, ~700 clubs. They're playable but pretty boring at the moment because they have no kits, players, history or logos yet.

ALPHA 0.17
Complete squad, staff, history and other details for Bideford, including all player pictures available and full player and staff history. Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/Rt9Rg

This is excellent but can you add the fa cup first qualifying round and preliminary rounds so lower league teams can play in it.
Also the fa vase is just for clubs level 9 and below on the football pyramid.

Why not create a document that you can send to people to fill in for their local team(s) this will save you from having to look it up. I for one would certainly be willing to assist

That's not a bad idea. I'd happily take roster info from others on this. I'm not really sure what form such a document might take. I've been really impressed by the amount of record-keeping that seems to go on in the lower leagues, but it does depend on the team as to how much info is available. In the Evo-Stik Southern Premier, the info for Bideford was very nicely presented, but was much harder to obtain for Biggleswade, for example.

Just curious, how many Tiers do you plan on adding + how long do you think it will take, due to me not really wanting to use it and it having a huge update which I cant use in my save.

Also if you need any help with Logos for the clubs, I would be happy to help and resize them for you!

The document (word/Excel) could ask for all of the fields that you can enter into the database, and if they can't find that info then they just leave it blank for now. I will post a sample for my local team camel Lairds 1907 later today for you

I've just completed my first season, and noticed that the playoffs for the Southern, Northern and Ryman league premier divisions were wrong. The teams should only play those in their own league, not a random draw across all three leagues. Its the same with their division 1 leagues.

Im a bit of a noob at adding files to folders because im used to downloading files off steam. Do I put the graphics in the graphics folder or leave them just in a football manager folder

I might be interested in playing this database once its expanded a but more, I currently using the 11 tier database and seems ok tho most of the lower clubs have virtually no if not any players at all to start of with, but the cups seem to be working fine in them divisions
