When in doubt, blame social media.

Forums were the social media. Just like before them, emails were the big thing. Now it's all Twitter, etc. So is it the death of the forums, or the evolution? Maybe we're just the heavy-browed neanderthals who are clinging to our past glory!

Personally, I love forums

I'm actually on Twitter myself but truth be told, the last tweet I actually posted was back in September of last year, over six months ago. Even though I'm also on it, sometimes I can't be fucked with Facebook either. I've always preferred forums myself.

I'm a huge user of Twitter and Facebook - much to excess. I prefer forums for specific chat though.

Horrible night last night, my cat got hit by a car. thankfully from what the vet was saying he looks like he might pull through but it was horrible seeing him lying there covered in blood struggling to breath. My one year old little girl would be devastated if he died, Bruce (the cats name) was her first word, she happily babbles on about him all day and lights up when she sees him come in, he lets he pull his whiskers and tail without ever getting angry with her.

Sounds as if he's going to be OK. Lost all the teeth on one side of his mouth, had to have his jaw wired shut as well as possibly losing the use of one eye. Thank fuck he is insured.

Ouch, best of wishes for Bruce! (Love the name for a cat, btw)

Had a similar situation last year, people drive like arseholes down my road - especially the bus drivers! Daft as it is wide enough for only one vehicle due to the parking bays. Plenty of cats down my street with one eye and battle wounds! Just gives them more character

Four hours of searching, reading about and applying for jobs paid off in that sense. One is fundraising for concern worldwide and it's more than minimum wage, so that's not bad. They're actually checking my references so I'll safely assume they're not doing that for fun.
