Not a bad result but ideally needed all three. Nevertheless, decent point. Hopefully we can continue this at Anfield on Saturday.

Linesman on that side was god awful all game. For both sides. Shame decisions like that can cost a team so much

In a weird situation where I wouldn't mind us losing to Newcastle at the weekend, ultimately were not playing for anything but I think the fact that we'll be playing youngsters again will probably work in our favour. They all seem to want to prove to Klopp that they're worth a place in the team.

Agree with this, I was impressed by the youngsters on show last weekend. Thought ward had a good game between the sticks, hopefully will raise mignolets game! Ojo looks a promising aspect too

They've lost 3 of their last 34 league games, and you think they'll lose 3 of their final 4 matches? Fuck off.

If it goes down to the final game of the season I'm sure Chelsea will do the honourable thing and make sure Leicester beat them so Spurs can't win the league.

I don't get why so many people think we'll win the league, it's not going to happen and you'd be foolish to think otherwise. Vardy getting suspended isn't going to trigger a collapse.

Tonight's game is a must win for us, with City dropping points and Arsenal being Arsenal every now and then. Plus the two still also have to play each other.

On the subject of Vardy, I find it incredible that Lineker has made excuses for Vardy's racist behaviour and for calling the referee "a fucking c*nt".

Well it isn't much different to what we have been doing for most of this season. Thankfully it isn't Arsenal or Spurs in that situation, otherwise the players actually had to try and play well!

I'm still hopeful Leicester win it in advance but Spurs have 2nd secured so they have less incentive to beat us on the final day and it increases our fighting chance of a win to stay up. Though saying that, we beat them at WHL in December with Steve McClaren in charge and Gouffran on the pitch. So...

That is true and I believe you've won something like 3 in a row at WHL now, but we've also won 4-0 and 3-1 on our last couple of visits to SJP

How is John Stones a £50M-rated CB?

There's been more than a few Everton fans calling for Martnez's head - more performances like this and surely they'll reciprocate.

Its of great dissatisfaction that McClaren treated Everton like Barcelona. Twice.

PFA Team of The Year: De Gea, Bellerin, Morgan, Alderweireld, Rose (lol), Kante, Alli, Payet, Mahrez, Kane & Vardy.

I would've had Schmeichel, Huth and Fuchs in for De Gea, Morgan and Rose, but the rest of it seems about right.

Nice of Payet to sneak in there after scoring a few free kicks, same with Bellerin whose failed to deliver a decent cross in 2016

Because Leicester might win the league or because you think Schmeichel has actually had a better season than De Gea?

De Gea has been ridiculously good again this season, he's on a different level to anyone in the world right now apart from Neuer.

Think the teams fine, Bellerin's lucky to get in but I can't think of anyone who was banging the door down to be chosen over him.

For me De Gea is the best GK in the world, but this season I've been impressed by Schmeichel the most.

Bellerin and Rose in the team really show how we are lacking a good full back in the PL.

I think Schmikes has been decent, but De Gea has done things again this season that he could not even dream of. I can understand how De Gea's performances get swept under the rug a bit this year though; I doubt anyone has been watching us when they've got better, more entertaining, things to do like pretty much absolutely everything in the history of the world.

Not sure what to make of today - our historically poor record at Anfield and the more immediate issue of our fucking woeful away form means I'd take a draw, but we need a win, we've shown improvements this week, Steve McClaren somehow beat them in December and hopefully Jurgen will be playing the kids with one eye on Villarreal.

So... dunno.
