Coaches getting blocked by the board

Morning all,

Am into my 5th Season on FM2016 and have just taken the reigns at AC Milan after leaving Lazio.

I'm trying bring in coaches that left with me at Lazio who are now unemployed. The problem I have is that I agree contracts with them but when it comes to signing them the board blocks the move even though I have plenty of space for them?

I remember in the 'interview' for the job it asked if I would want to bring in my own staff but I answered 'i'm happy to access whats there and then see' which is my standard answer and have never had any problems but I wonder if that somehow means I'm not allowed to bring in any staff even though I have plenty of space! It's annoying as at the moment I only have 4 very overworked coaches!

I hope this makes sense and would be interested to know if this has happened to anybody else?

Is there no reason given in the message where it says the move has been blocked?

It says not enough space but I can free up some room by getting rid of some coaching staff which as I have loads of space is a bit frustrating.

have you checked the staff limit on coaches? you can ask the board to increase staff limit on coaches. if you have plenty of space then it must be related to the fact that you promised the board you would work with the staff already there instead of hiring new staff, the board hold you to the promises that you make, you should of told them you wanted to hire new staff instead. you might be able to add the staff using FMRTE, but i haven't used it myself so i am not sure about that.....

Thanks for the comments, at the moment it's not giving me the option to ask for more staff so I think that must be it...............i'll just have to wait until I can I guess.
