We've progressed to the next round of the Irish Cup after beating Lurgan Celtic 2-1 at Ferney Park. David Quinn bagging the winner with eight minutes remaining after Niall Cassidy had given us the lead five minutes before half time - Lurgan Celtic's equaliser came from Gary Rice who (unless it's someone else) played for us last season.
Lost top spot following this draw at Crumlin Star as Niall Cassidy's goal a minute from time rescued a draw in a game we should have won but we just couldn't take our chances at Solitude.
It's going to be up to @Dan to win the Intermediate Cup against Coleraine as we advanced to the final following this 4-2 win against Albert Foundry at Ballinamallard United Stadium. Darren Crawford's brace helping us to progress while Luke O'Shea and David Cleary also found the net in this semi final, Foundry did peg us back twice which was a little frustrating but glad we're through.
The final game of my three month stint saw us make the trip to Institute as an excellent display on the road saw us return to the Championship One summit. Jim Kelly gave us the lead at the Riverside Stadium after thirty two minutes before substitute Iain Robinson's goal on sixty five minutes sealed the points but it could've been more than the two goals we scored.
Five league games and an Intermediate Cup final remain this season and it's up to @Dan to try and get us over the finishing line so no pressure lad but it's very tight at the top as only three points separate ourselves who are top and sixth placed Banbridge which is pretty insane.
If it wasn't for the split then seven points would've separated ourselves and ninth placed Institute. Mental league.
First trophy this season ticked off and finally our first in Northern Ireland as we beat Colerain two one in the Intermediate Cup. Crawford and Cleary gave us a two nil lead. Colerain netted a consolation goal in the final few minutes.
Big win against third place at the time Lurgan Celtic. We trailed two nil after just twelve minutes and looked in trouble. However Kane and Kelly made it two all at the break. Cassidy netted the winner for us.
And to end the season, potentially our last game in charge, a one all draw against Newington.
Champions and a second trophy this season. We won the league by three points as Lurgan Celtic, Newington and Coleraine all finish tied on forty ffour points.
Wasted no time at all in finding our next job, Dollingstown were relegated from our league this season, so we're heading to the basement of Northern Ireland.
Superb start to the Championship 2 season as we beat joint-favourites Glebe on the road, Barry Hallahan's goal five minutes from time was enough to seal maximum points at the Riada Stadium in Ballymoney.
Tony Greene's seventeen minute goal has given us a single goal win away at Queens University Belfast. We were reduced to ten men in the sixty sixth minute when Paul McAuley was sent off for two yellow cards but we still held on for a deserved three points at The Dub against the students.
Goals from Kyle Woods and Tony Greene was enough to seal three points from this home game against Immaculata. When they pulled a goal back with thirteen minutes to go, I was thinking "f*ck sake, here we go again, another draw" but this time we held on.
And my stint has ended with a 1-1 draw away to Malachians at Billy Neill Complex. We took the lead two minutes before half time through Paul McAuley but the hosts levelled six minutes into the second half and that's how it finished.
And that's the end of my stint at Dollingstown for the time being and the game will be uploaded to @Dan in due course. Whatever happens this season, we'll need to return to Championship 1/Championship 2 as this club doesn't compete in the Steel & Sons Cup, which is a trophy we can't avoid. But yeah, it's been a decent enough start to the season as we are up in second place after seven games.
However, we have lost around three talented players to other clubs (curse of non-contracted players) and haven't been able to replace them thus far as there isn't anyone available who'd make us better so I'm having to promote 'sh*te' from our reserve team to try and 'plug' holes.

The first month of 2035 ended in disappointment as Newry won 2-1 at Ferney Park, Niall Cassidy scoring our only goal.

Job done against Crumlin United in this Intermediate Cup fourth round tie at Mill Road, David Cleary's brace helping us.

A tight game at Crystal Park saw us beat Banbridge 2-0 as Niall Cassidy and Declan Murphy found the net.

I've no idea how we've managed to lose this home clash against Newington even though we bossed the game...

Into the semi finals of the Intermediate Cup after securing victory over Linfield Swifts as Darren Crawford hit a double.

Played well in this Irish Cup quarter final tie at home to Cliftonville but ultimately we crashed out . . . as expected I suppose.

I didn't realise I had the save, picked it up and won two one against Crumlin Star who have been superb all season.

A good two nil home win sees us notch up our third win in a row and keep us top of the Championship 1.

Reverse result as we met days later in the league. This bringing Colerain within touching distance of us at the top.

How the f*ck did we not win this game at home to Sport & Leisure? We dominated but conceded two late goals.

And we're out of the League Cup as Championship 1 side Ballymena won 1-0.

Even game, poor enough result as Loughgall won 2-0 at Lakeview Park.

Not the ideal start to my first game in charge, a draw against Albert Foundry at home sees us sit third.
