That is narrowly better. a one nil win against Cruaness, the worst defence in the league this season. Woods gifting us the goal to take us to second.

Ended the short month with a disappointing three nil defeat against DC.

Out the cup, expectedly so against higher side Warrenpoint, we took them to extra time though.

Survived a board meeting before this with us sitting in fifth, a win has taken us up to second and puts the pressure back on league leaders Glebe. A narrow three two win over St Patricks Young Men was enough for us. We led twice in this game and finally got across the line.

Smashed league leaders Glebe as we move top of the pile and in control.A dominant showing saw us claim a three one win.

Warrenpoint dump us out another cup competition.

This was a surprise win, beating Coleraine in the cup despite them being a division higher.

My final game in charge this calender year saw us claim a two nil home win against Queens University Belfast. They provided little competition. Chris Lowe' brace secured the points.


I hand the save back to @Shedender with us sitting to by three points over second place Glebe and four points over third and fourth place Albert Foundry and St Patricks Y.M. Loughall sit a further point behind with Donegal Celtic in sixth only five points from the top spot/

Paul McAuley's goal just after the hour mark saw us secure a single goal win at Queens.

But we're out of the Irish Cup after an embarrassing two goals to nil defeat at home to Camlough.

A tough game at Breda Park saw us crash to a one nil defeat away to Knockbreda, we deserved at least a point.

Drew two apiece at home to Loughgall, Mark Canavan's goal rescuing us a point at Planter's.

Brace from Gerard Robinson gave us a 2-1 home victory over Malachians and we're two points clear at the summit.

Are you actually kidding me right now? Innaculata were reduced to ten men after only two minutes and we still couldn't hold on to secure maximum points. Striker Chris Lowe gave us the lead on fifty seven minutes and I thought we were going to hold on but the hosts levelled with only seven minutes remaining, quite frustrating.

But my stint ended with the team coming from behind to secure what could turn out to be a huge three points at Paisley Park. We fell behind on the stroke of half time but second half goals from Gerard Robinson and Mark Canavan secured three points against Albert Foundry.

And @Dan will be getting the save back with ourselves top of the table and three points clear of our nearest challengers Albert Foundry and I'm not sure a) how many league games are remaining this season or b) the third tier splits but I don't think it does. Promotion is looking good and I'd love to see us get over the line.

I've already agreed to our next chapter all being well but it's up to either my 'colleague' or whether promotion happens.

Not a great start to the last three games, a 1-1 draw sees us drop two points late on.

2-0 up in fourteen minutes, lose three two! Big hit to our title hopes, season goes to the last day.

No win in our final three league games, goalless against second place Donegal Celtic.


Enough to secure the league title though, winning the league by two points as DC struggled on their run in too.

20th May I felt it was time to depart here. Wasn't needed the next division title, I've removed the bottom tier in northern Ireland, had to keep the second as we need to return for the steel and sons cup.

June 1st and we move into an almost perfect job situation as we return to Ireland, we've had a very brief stint here back at Cork before the TNS job became available.


And here is why it looks so good! Second in the league, four points behind league leaers Shelbourne.

Making good progress now @Shedender and @Dan after that wobbly patch a few pages back. Keep it up

So it's a losing start at U.C.D as Cobh Ramblers deservedly won 3-1. Our goal was an own goal which we barely deserved.

And it's back-to-back defeats to kick off this stint as we conceded early and late at Tolka Park. We had previously equalised through Adrian Forde and lost David Ryan to a red card on another poor evening for the students.

Finally a win as Wexford Youths were beaten 2-0 at Belfield Bowl, Darius Ryan and Jack O'Baoill both scored inside the final fifteen minutes to seal a much needed three points. Wexford sacked their manager after the game.

Sigh. A third defeat from my first four games, this is tougher than I imagined.

Its nice to see you single handedly destroying our chance of ticking off this league title in six months.

That's what I do though @Dan and you should know that by now . . .


So yeah whenever you go down to ten men after only five minutes you expect to lose at the basement club, right? Whenever you end up leading the contest 3-0 away from home after fifty two minutes because of a hat trick from winger Sam Crowley then you expect to win, right? Wrong. We managed to f*ck up a perfect opportunity to secure maximum points away at Drogheda, losing 4-3. Unbelievable.
