Football Manager 2013 will be released on November 2nd 2012. However you begin playing the game two weeks earlier on 19th September if you pre order the game using this link.

Amazon are likely just guessing though, as they and other retailers often do.

After all they are in the business of selling stuff and having a release date helps them sell stuff, even if it is inaccurate.
