League cup draw live on Facebook, right now!

Away to your boys on the last game of the season!

The football league have fucked us over royally with some of these fixtures; we have some ridiculously long journeys on Bank Holidays that will be made worse by traffic. Absolutely no thought for fans below the Championship. Shower of cunts.

Charlton at home for the first game, and Notlob away on easter. Not too bad, I suppose but we're going to lose both anyway. Fleetwood away on boxing day is gonna be a right fekking laugh isn't it? Probably getting blasted there just to make sure i survive this calamity of a fixture

Quite happy with our fixtures, only ones I noticed which are a pain are Portsmouth and Newport away on Tuesday nights. Although there's only 5 Tuesday games which is great! Getting my season ticket next week as I'm moving back up north from here next week.

The lack of Tuesday night games are to accommodate for the ridiculous EFL Trophy group stage with Under-21 shit.

Linked with Matt Gilks in the papers today. Been looked at by various League One clubs and Rangers, so highly unlikely he will sign but at very last good to see Flickers has finally identified that we need solid, expereinced guy as our main stopper

Well, Gilks went to the Gers in the end but nevermind, since this day was actually really busy as we made THREE new signings.

First one was Ben Williams. Goalkeeper who joins us from Bradford. Also used to play for Carlisle, Colchester and Hibs. Reading on Twitter, the Bratfuddys actually quite liked him and they seem gutted about him leaving, so he might actually be the sort of solid keeper we used to wait for.

Second new signing is Zeli Ismail. Now this lad had more trips to league clubs than the average groundhopper on his way to the 92. Burton, Notts, MK Dons, Oxford, Cambridge, you name them, he was there. Quite pacey IIRC and Cambridge fans quite liked him so if he is fit and motivated, this might be a shrewd signing and one for the future, at 22.

Thir dnew signing is Niall Maher. Full back who has been released by Notlob. Also had a loan spell at Blackpool, so mayve Suffolk Seasider can shed some light on how good he is. But at 20 years of age, I don't expect him to be a world beater straight away.

I remain highly critical of Flickers and the board, but I believe we could have done worse than those who signed. Linked with Nicky Clark, who has been relased by Rangers and the club themselves said ther emight be some new faces coming in this wekend or start of next week, so might have just got the ball rolling

Another signing! This time, Elias Kachunga, former German under-21 striker joins on loan from Ingolstadt for the season. 24 years old. Mixed bag at Bundesliga level, but still young and Town have an option for a permanent deal at the end of the campaign. Still need a big number 9 type, but at least we have two strikers now!

Lynch, however, will be departing for QPR for about £1m. Shame to see him go, but apparently he's had a tough year personally so he wants to get away from Huddersfield. Can't blame him for jumping at the chance to go to QPR. We need to bring someone else in at the back, but he goes with the best will in the world. Looks like he'll be replaced by 1860 Munich centre-half Christopher Schindler. Or Kelvin Wilson. Or both.

We've signed three more: Sean McAllister, midfielder released from Scunny, Dan Jones, centrehalf released from Hartlepool, and Ashley Chambers, striker/winger released from Dagenham.

McAllister should be great judging by Scunny comments, Jones will be back up to the others I'm guessing and Chambers I'm unsure of, we had him on loan back in 2010 when he was young, but he's hardly set the world alight since then. Hopefully Hurst can work his magic and turn him into something.

We've only made one 'new' signing and that is Jack Mackreth re-signing after he left Tranmere. @One Night In Grimsby where did it go wrong for him with you lot? When he was here last time with us, he was class so I'm happy he's joined us.

However, we've lost our captain Paul Turnbull, our top goalscorer Kristian Dennis and our number 1 keeper Shwan Jalal looks like he's off to Wrexham. We need some new signings, especially some attacking players. Marcus Carver has been released by Accrington and apparently we're in for him.

Yeah Mackreth was one of those for us, could be really good one week but pretty useless the next. He's always dubbed as this pacey winger that beats his man but a) I was never convinced he's actually that quick and b) he hardly ever took on his fullback, instead he'd cut back and pass it sideways or back to the rightback.

That said, Hursty always made sure we were defensively solid so maybe if he was allowed to let his shackles off a little and not worry about giving the ball away trying to beat a man, he'd be better. Works hard as well, which can never be faulted. Just fell out of favour with Hurst last season, I think deemed not quite good enough for our ambitions. But good luck to him.

EDIT: Also, he's ace on FM, highly recommended!

Signed Nicky Clark, who's been released by Rangers. Quite a decent player whenever i've seen him play so fairly happy with that!

Also in the papers that we're signing THREE more players on monday. One supposed to be another keeper.

Colin Doyle from Blackpool? Sure, wasn't he available for £1.

We wouldn't see any of the transfer money anyway. Decent keeper.

Soz m8, but it isn't Doyle xx

We signed Chris Kirkland on a 12 month deal. Don't know what to make of this. We have already signed a decent enough keeper for L1 standards, and one of our best prospects in Jack Ruddy is probably going to be shifted away because of this. As a players/coach i wouldn't actually mind him but as a number 2 or even number 1?!?!

Joel Lynch out to QPR for £1.2m rising to £1.5m.

Christopher Schindler in from 1860 Munich for £1.8m - a new club record fee. Just for it being a club record, I'm excited. Not normal to be so excited about seeing a central defender in action, but if he's worth a club record fee he'll hopefully be something special. (He says, pretty much expecting Franco Baresi in his pomp). At that fee, we mean serious business.

We've signed 3 signings in one day, with more expected tomorrow before pre-season starts. We've signed a Latvian international called Nauris Bulvitis, Jimmy Spencer from Cambridge and David Goodwillie who takes the accolade of being someone I've actually heard of.

Former Town junior. Had something, but never had the chance at Town mostly because his knees were shot before his 20th birthday. Not quick, but clever and strong. Not the most prolific, but works well with someone who will be - he'll hold it up, bring others in, link play well and be a nuisance to defenders. Occasionally gets sent off for being a less subtle Alan Lee, but he might have worked on his temper since he left us.

So far we've only signed Matz Sels which could mean one of either Tim Krul or Rob Eliott may move on.

We've also been linked with Dwight Gayle and Matt Richie.

Got 3 points from our 2015/16 season dedeucted because SOMEHOW we managed to field an ineligible player. Speaks volumes what kind of gyppos run our club. How the flying fuckety fuck is that acceptable at any sort of professional football?!?!

Also our CEO gave an interview yesterday, saying we're under no pressure of selling players like L.Clarke and Riley and today Riley left for Shrewsbury. Lolz.

BUT, we signed a full back today. Greg Leigh joins from Bradford. 21 years young and a former City youngster, who spent time on loan at Crewe aswell. Happy days innit
