What is the premise behind that Sky1 show, "Wild Things". They advertise it a lot, and I understand it's not the first season but all I can tell is it's adults dressed in animal suits?!

Last/this nights Game of Thrones had the most obvious, anticipated plot line ever in it...

Well, I hope the nudity is better than last week too

That wasn't even the worst view, full frontal was absolutely brutal! Sadly no nudity this week. I suppose that's a spoiler but you can just watch porn to make up for it.

Yeah I feel bad enough having that in my broswer history, never mind the rest!

I need to avoid spoilers until the football is finished!

Going back to your original comment, now that I've caught up, it was indeed highly predictable for an episode. I still enjoy it though

I have missed it, interesting to see what happens now that the predictable has happened! (Although some people who are much more caught up than I am on the books and the canon and all that shite could probably tell you what's going to happen next anyway).

Tbh, having read all the books, I think in a lot of places they are beginning to forge ahead.

Still behind with the Ironborn is all that I can think of for the story arcs that are in both books and tv series. Been a while since I read them though. Probably another couple of years yet until the next book, if ever.

Chris Evans is leaving Top Gear. Might actually watch the next series, might.

Did anyone here actually watch the new series? I watched the first episode and thats it.

I'm the same, saw the first episode and haven't bothered since. It's been great advertising for Clarkson, May and Hammond's new show The Grand Tour though, got me excited for that because I need the void filled that Top Gear ain't doing.

Finished the final season of Banshee, really enjoyed it overall. I wouldn't say the story line, acting or budget was anything brilliant on their own - but it's a show that worked and was thoroughly enjoyable to watch.

Tried starting Colony but couldn't get past the first episode really.

Waiting for the latest seasons of Sillicon Valley and Penny Dreadful to finish so I can binge them!

Aye, watched em all in the end.

They were alright, Chris Evans got a bit less annoying as it went on and when Rory Reid and Chris Harris started doing segments (episode 3 onwards I think) they started to make some good stuff. If you liked the car reviews in Old New Top Gear then they're well worth watching.

It wasn't great, but then neither was Clarkson, May and Hammond's Top Gear by the end but it was watchable.

Did indeed binge through Penny Dreadful and Sillicon Valley, enjoyed them both!

Have also shot through the latest trending tv show, Stranger Things. Loved the 80s theme and whilst the story seemed familiar it was still enjoyable all the way through

Currently trying to get into the 4400 on Netflix, got good reviews from friends but I'm struggling with it half way through the first season.

Couldn't get into Stranger Things but I did really enjoy Netflixs other new show The Get Down which doesn't seem to be getting a lot of press because of Stranger Things

Started watching The Get Down on Netflix last night, a bit slow for the first half of episode 1 but then picked and finished quite promisingly so will definitely be continuing it.

I don't tend to watch much terrestrial television but, seeing as how I've been signed off work for a couple of weeks, I've been trawling through catch-up TV trying to find something to watch so I don't go fucking mental.

Watched National Treasure with Robbie Coltrane, and Julie Walters and Tim McInnerny in it. Quite a good show, the "love story" just seems pointless but all three of those actors, and the actress who plays Coltrane's daughter put in cracking performances, final episode airs tomorrow I think.

Yes! Loving it. Intrigued by the man in black, just hope it doesn't go the way of full-on synth revolution that I'm expecting...

Yep, absolutely loved it. Fantasic, Claire Foy plays the Queen really well and John Lithgow gets Churchill's voice spot on sometimes.

Even with all that shit, got to admire the Queen now, just getting on with it at 90 even when it should never have been her.

If there's one thing that the series really highlighted, other than what a mess the royal family is, it's that the job of king/queen is literally impossible.
