I am attempting to use the latest squads with the real fixtures, but it's causing FM to crash with the error in the attached image when I try to start a new career game.
After reading a little on this forum board about issues I have also tried the latest squads with the real fixtures file for May the 28th but received the same error.
I have followed the instructions exactly, all of the files are in the editor data folder and the only other files in there are Susie's Real Name Fixes & Media Files.

I don't think it's really my job to speak to the owner of the file, surely they should be active on this forum.
if the combination of the latest squads + 2016 start date / real fixtures is not working for me I can only assume it's not working for other people too. Is there any combination of these files that is guaranteed to work?
Seeing as this is the "Latest Squads" + "Custom Start Dates and Real Fixtures" which is on the main navigation menu of the site, I'm assuming someone is going to get these files working together again as it's a long wait until FM17 comes out from the start of the season and many others will be wanting to start a 2016/2017 season with the latest squads. Or am I wrong?
Having played a part in multiple online gaming projects / communities myself and ones that only ask for donations, don't charge a fee to use - it's a little disappointing to see the lack of urgency on getting these issues fixed.

It's a shame that it doesn't work at the moment hopefully the owner comes back on here soon and can fix it.
But c'mon man show some appreciation these people give up their time to help others enjoy this game even more.

for now custom start dates and our data update are not compatible, use one or another, or use none

I showed my appreciation already by paying £15 or whatever it was for the right to download.
When you pay for a service you expect it to work.
"Welcome to make your own files" - Yeah that makes sense, I'm going to spend weeks learning how all of this stuff is done to then make my own files when others already know how and it's probably just a few small tweaks to get it working again. I don't think so.
