Good grief! The striker injury crisis is certainly negative effects as we could barely hit a barn door. Somehow emerged with an undeserved point in my book.

Dull. Limp. Lifeless. On a serious win drought.

Adapted to a strikerless 4-2-4-0 since our strike force were firing blanks. Needless to say we were back to winning ways in very pleasing circumstances. I'm a tactical wizard.

Think we're definitely onto something. Despite only scoring one goal, we were terrorising and constantly winning the battles in midfield.

Confidence is beaming with three wins on the bounce.

Zinram turned on the heat in the second half following a dreadful opening half. Nice way to close out the season, four wins on the bounce.




Despite our best efforts, the mountain to the top was too steep to climb.

The perks of managing in a small, rich country.

Being at the club for only three/four months, it was assured that Lapierre would be the player to stand out this season. Stellar performances from the right back acting as an auxiliary winger from time to time. Granata showed glimpses of brilliance too before his unfortunate injury.



Also good to see two of the top three players of the season were Dudelange contracted; Lapierre third and Joël Pedro second, but falling short of the best player Tonini.

Are you taking the absolute p*ss? I've to go through ANOTHER bloody takeover. Two takeovers for my last two clubs, surviving one and failing the other. Third time lucky?

Holy smokes, how much?!

How many takeovers is that you've had at Dudelange?

Just my first, but third takeover in four seasons.

A speedy resolution, without any fear of losing my job. Plus a healthy sum is injected.



I highly doubt we're going into administration anytime soon.

TRANSFERS OUT:



Few outs in the camp, some quite reluctantly letting go due to being out of contract or non-contract players.

Zimmer and Tavares being the two I'm disappointed with as Differdange swooped in from nowhere to snatch them, but at least for some compensation. Tavares left on deadline day within the last hour, before I even gave the opportunity to sign a new deal. Leaving us scarce on good defenders.

Steve Joachim was a fringe player so the best course was to let him go.

Two loans out, Kalisa being one from the first team off to Progres. Youngster Vitor Martins also out, in search of getting potential game time at Grevenmacher.

TRANSFERS IN:



A mixture of fresh blood and experience.

Yannick Kalisa - free transfer from Fola Esch


First up, 18 year old Yannick Kalisa who has the potential to shake things up up front. Composure and off the ball obviously the flaws of his game, but with plenty of acceleration, pace and stamina, this boy could fire on all cylinders within a few seasons.

Guglielmo Capelli - season long loan from Udinese


With Granata not willing to stay on loan for another season, Capelli becomes our Italian import from Udinese. Certainly not as quick as Kalisa, but could provide a more specialist role as a possible poacher or target man, despite his jumping reach not being impressive. First touch and off the ball will be the areas to improve.

Gilles Feltes - free transfer from Etzella Ettelbruck


Good defensive options were very hard to come by in this transfer window, but settled with Feltes as he'll improve the center back structure hopefully. Heading, marking and tackling essentially above 10. Good cover defender with his acceleration as well.

Corentin Diverres - unattached


Let go by Fola Esch, Diverres is a solid backup for the midfield department. The attention is drawn to impressive passing and first touch. Might not be a starter, but a handy backup in case of injuries.

Off to a winning start, however we were abysmal at defending and almost bottled it. Thankfully Kalisa came off the bench to rescue three points plus a debut goal.



My man management skills are second to none.

Meh. Felt it was ours to win, but alas we must settle with a draw.

Patrik Teixeira sparkled as we swept aside newly promoted Avenir Beggen.

Joël Pedro's belter of a goal sealed the deal. One goal for the amount of chances created was worrying.

Ready to spit fire at my team. Three up at half time, everything looks routine and safe. Come away with a pigging draw. F*cking fuming.

Ohhh, throwing away a 3-0 lead is harsh. I hope you gave those players the hairdryer treatment!

Congrats on surviving the takeover! With all that money now burning a hole in your pocket I'm surprised at the lack of money spent bringing players in.

At one time or another I'm sure we've all squandered a 3-0 lead, especially at home. It's a bitch.

@Suffolk Seasider - the only nation I can scout is Luxembourg so it's a bummer for the amount of money we have!

@Shedender - yeah, but things like this shouldn't happen to me!

Jeunesse Esch don't mess around. Fortunate way to win as they headed onto the post, and falls kindly to his feet to tap into an empty net.

JE throwing curveballs early on.

Luckily, we grabbed three points against the only other side in the division with a 100% record start, Koeppchen. All credit to their goalkeeper though, as it would have been double or triple the scoreline without him.

To be harshly criticising, a quite flat, dreary performance. Points in the bank though, so why am I complaining?

Epic ding-dong battle ending in deadlock, but praise the Lord for my game changing substitution by bringing Abreu on in the 84th minute and scoring with his first touch.

Could be a crucial blow.

It was apparent that nothing went right during this game. Downright disgraceful.



And the news gets even worse. More injuries.

Count ourselves bloody lucky as we were down to ten men for more than half of the game. Luckily a penalty may have tipped the scales in our favour, allowing us to double our advantage in the second half.
