After much deliberation, I have decided to take over at Woking, currently plying their trade in the Conference National. In real life, they are struggling to be honest. At the start of this season, due to cash-flow issues they went from a 'Professional' outfit to a 'Semi Professional side. This upcoming season is bound to be a difficult one for them, especially with all of the off field issues. Strangely, FM have decided that they should be finishing 12th this season which is extremely optimistic.
In terms of this career, my first priority is to stay in the league. My manager [Fola] was previously a Sunday League Footballer and currently has his National A Licence [this was the recommended profile at this level]. I will be looking to keep a steady ship in terms of finances, I won't be paying over the odds for any players, none whatsoever. We have a transfer budget of £0 and currently £781 free in the wage budget. In terms of tactics, I am unsure what I will be playing but I will attempt to figure this out in pre-season. I'll be looking to bring in young players and hopefully see them develop enough to sell them on. Overall, I will be looking to find the right mix between youthful flair and experience. I will have a look at my staff and also see if there any room for improvement there.
Glad to be back and hope you enjoy this.

The finances here aren't the best so one of the first things I did was let Anthony Edgar leave the club on a free transfer to fellow Conference side Torquay. Our centre back Ismail Yakubu is on £1k a week so I am looking to ship him off too.
Here is the squad that I currently have at my disposal:
.
In goal we have two good goalkeepers in Michael Poke and Brandon Hall. Micheal Poke will be my number 1 for the league matches however Hall will be the number 1 for all the cup matches.
In defence, I have brought in 3 new young defenders who I am quite excited about. Billy Simpson is only 20 years old and looks like he could be a promising player in the future. Sundman and Johnson will start this season as back ups but could very well have a part to play for us. Joey Jones is a good young centre back who can also play in CDM. Brian Saah adds some much needed experience to the back line.
Midfield, we are very strong. We have Dennon Lewis who is on loan from Watford who is rated our best player in terms of star ratings. Frankie Sutherland and new signing Corby Moore also look like they could have a bright future. Keiran Murtagh, our captain, has the ability to pull the strings in the centre of midfield for us.
Up top Kandi and Ansah offer us pace and flair while Delano Sam-Yorke and Gozie Ugwu offer us the brute force. I am not too sure whether Ugwu fits into my system so may look to move him on. He's on big wages and may be able to get some money for him.

- Avoid relegation from the Conference National
- Reach the Third Round of the FA Cup to help with finances [VERY optimistic]
- Have one player who scores over 15 goals and two score over 10
Bring it on!

What a frustrating game. Lincoln are going to be up near the top of the table this season so I set out my team to frustrate them in midfield. Zak Ansah started up top on his own and caused havoc within the Lincoln back line. We defended well but were undone 15 minutes before the end. Frustrating like I said but happy with the performance. Solihull up next who are one of the favourites for relegation, need a win.

The less said about this one the better. We were absolutely battered by a bang average Solihull side. If this is to be the way that our season will go, then I doubt I will be in a job too long. On the positive, we scored a goal. FML.

That's more like it. We got our first point of the season thanks to a late penalty from substitute Max Kretzschmar. I decided to put Billy Simpson into CM and he broke up the match well. Would of been nice to get a win but happy to get a point. Forest Green next, could be a tough one.

Another frustrating game but one we were unlucky to lose. Forest Green are a step above in terms of quality and they really showed it today, especially during the end of the game. Unfortunately Zak Ansah picked up an ankle injury and has been ruled out for 8 weeks. Not the best start to the season but we will keep on fighting for that first win.

Football is all about luck and we are just not getting it at the moment. Dagenham are a tough side, another one who will be near the top next season. They had a man sent off at 0-0 with 10 minutes to go so we decided to push for the win. We ended up getting caught on the counter and coming home with nothing. The search continues for that first win. I will be looking at the transfer list to see if we can bring in any reinforcements to freshen things up.

That's much more like it. York are a good side and we managed to come away with a valuable point. I made a few changes from recent weeks and Kretzschmar [who had been out of the team recently] repaid my faith in him with a great goal. Yes, it would of been nice to get the win but really happy to stop the run of defeats.

Centre midfielder Tyrell Miller-Rodney has joined from Staines Town. He joins on a free transfer until the end of the season. He's still young so there's definitely potential there to improve. The work rate of 14 impressed me, I am hoping he can be our very on Non-League Scott Parker. He will probably go straight into the squad for the game tomorrow against Chester.

WE WON A GAME! Fantastic performance against a good Chester side to bag our first win of the season. Form and confidence comes hand in hand in football and we've just been unfortunate lately. We have played some of the best teams in the league so as we lost, the more the confidence was shot. Lets hope we can kick on from here and kick-start our season.

BREAKING NEWS: The Non-League Messi has joined Woking. JP Kissock has joined us from Conference South side Ebbsfleet. In real life, he is one of my favourite players in Non-League football and he's a player I love to watch. I checked the finances and the board were kind enough to put £10k into the transfer budget. All of this £10k was spent on Kissock. He will be predominantly used in the CAM position and hopefully will make things tick for us. He'll make his debut in a few days time against one of his former clubs in Macclesfield [Incidentally, the club I support in real life].

What a brilliant win away at Macclesfield. We went down early on but managed to quick back quickly thanks to former Macclesfield man Keiran Murtagh. Murtagh then went on to bag his second to secure our second win of the season. We played really well and hopefully we can keep this up.Tried Frankie Sutherland upfront in a F9 position and he worked it well as he assisted both goals, definitely something I will think about using in the future.

Bermudan international Jonte Smith has joined us on a free transfer from Conference South side Welling. He can play behind the striker or up top so he gives us another option in the final third. He's a quick player and knows where the goal is, hopefully he can settle quickly. I am trying to offload Gozie Ugwu as he's on large wages but for the time being, we have had no luck on that front.

Another signing and probably our last for a while unless we can move some players on. We needed a few reinforcements here and there and I am happy with the lads I have brought into the club. We need to address our finances but like I said, I will be looking to move some players on. Tobi Sho-Silva is another good young forward who joins us on a free transfer from Bromley. 8 out of the 9 players that I have brought into the club since I took over have been under the age of 22- looking to the future.

What an absolutely terrible performance against bottom of the table Guiseley. The last two games we were brilliant, this one not so much. We rarely threatened the Guiseley goal and gave away a stupid penalty late on to hand them the win. Not good enough from our side and we need to improve quickly.

Fantastic performance as Jonte Smith scored his first goal for the club to secure our third win in our last four matches. We were never really troubled by Torquay and looked solid at the back. Brian Saah has been a rock for me at the back so far this season. Hopefully we are now over our bad start and can push up the table.

Ten games gone and we sit just above the drop zone. The board are wanting a mid-table finish so we obviously need to improve but we are doing OK. It's quite tight this league and even though we are sitting just above the drop zone, we are only 5 points off play offs. Onwards and upwards.

Another frustrating game but we actually played quite well. Tranmere are a great side and have come class players for this league so I would of been happy to come away with a point. Don't want to get into a rut with these past few results, we have a tough match up next against Eastleigh.

Gozie Ugwu has been out of favour this season but I decided to give him a go against Eastleigh and he was absolutely brilliant. Eastleigh are a good side so to grab a point in this one is very pleasing. Ugwu scored a wonder goal from twenty-five yards while Keiran Murtagh bagged his third of the season to get us the draw.

Fantastic away performance as we traveled to Bromley and came away with a big win. We had Zak Ansah back in the side after his recovery from injury so it was really nice to see his name on the score sheet. Bromley set us up for a scare late on with a late goal but we did enough to hold on. Great win.

We have been drawn against Maidenhead in the FA Cup. Like I said before, I would love a good cup run. Win this and we get £12.5k and enter the First Round. Maidenhead are currently third in the Conference South so it won't be an easy game.

Back to back win thanks to another great performance. Decided to play Ismail Yakubu in an unnatural position infront of the back 4 and he had a stormer. Gozie Ugwu scored the decisive goal and is really coming into form now. Really glad I didn't sell him.

Would of loved a home tie so to get Forest Green away is quite a horrible draw. Saying that, we missed out on any Football League teams so I think we still definitely have a chance.
