Nathan Blissett's first half penalty was enough for Torquay to grab an important win against Dagenham.
Torquay dominated John Still's Dagenham from start to finish and should of probably won by more. Their goal came on the half hour mark when the impressive Scott Kashket was fouled in the area. His strike partner Nathan Blissett stepped up to convert the resulting penalty and seal an important win for Robbie Herrera's side. Torquay face Chester in the league next.

Torquay won their second successive match after a well fought win against Chester.
Torquay went ahead through Brett Williams who scored with a fine header from a corner. Torquay's in-form striker Nathan Blissett then scored his own header before Micheal Ngoo found the scoresheet when he poked the ball home. In fairness, Torquay were in control for the majority of the game however Chester struck twice late on to set up a nervy finish but Robbie Herrera's side managed to hold on for the win.
