Just A Blade
My name is Ramat Singh and I'm 20 years old from Thailand. And I'm a football manager.
At least I'm trying to be. I've not actually managed a team yet but I aspire to, my dream is to lift the club world cup with as many Asian teams as I can. But first I'm going to need a job, which is proving to be a problem.
A quick look through the job centre shows that there's jobs a plenty, I've e-mailed my CV to every club you see here. In an ideal world I'll get the Kitchee job - a realistic chance at a top domestic division, plenty of cup games & even continental football!
Damn. Well there's plenty more jobs about surely I'll get something.
Hang on, that's not in the script. Most of the rejection letters were the same, how other candidates were much stronger and had relevant experience. However, Cilegon United hired the manager of Persinga Ngawi - a team from the same league (Indonesia Premier Division - the second tier of Indonesian football). I swiftly sent my CV off - telling them how unprofessional I thought their former manager was and that they deserve someone with a bit of class.
Surely enough, with a few tiny lies, I got this message the next day:
Here we go. The first chapter in my career as a football manager.
