First of all i want to apology in advance, if I wrote this in to the wrong topic. For some reason the site doesnt let me create a new topic. So that question is abour football manager 16.
I would like to ask for a little bit of help. I want to create 16/17 real fixtures for bpl in FM16. I managed to find last year real fixtures on steam workshop, so I downloaded it and create the same rules and stuff, (so everything exept of fixtures is the same on my opinion). So here's what I've done:
1. I downloaded a new database with latest transfers here: http://www.fmscout.com/a-fm16-spring-2017-data-update.html
2. I opened the editor and load this file. There were already existing nation rules for england, so I converted it to advanced rules.
3. I searched Barclays Premier league(2015)>league fixtures>fixtures for year (I was comparing it to last year file, like i said earlier). There i wrote all the fixtures, dates and times, like there are in real life. thats the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/f4gwpe
After that, I saved it, and it told me that i have to test the rules first. So i did, i tested it and it went through correctly.
But when I try to use this fixtures in game, it doesnt work, there are still the default ones.

Have you ticked "use real fixtures" when starting a new game?

Actually I did not. I dont see the option "use real fixtures" there is only "do not use real fixtures" and i tried to ticked version and unticked version, its still the same. The default ones.
Probbably there is some problem in editor, but I have no idea what, all the option is the same in comparison with the old one.

Not really suitable for this (playing half way through a season). That's more suited to a data update.
Is there any sort of error message? What leagues are you loading?

but I did go back to 13 may and have hat no crashes yet and season is over

If you want to progress the game by a year your best bet is a Football Manager Data Update
