The Mexico national football team represents Mexico in association football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), the governing body for football in Mexico. Mexico's home stadium is the Estadio Azteca and their head coach is José Manuel de la Torre. The team is currently ranked 14th in the FIFA World Rankings and 7th in the World Football Elo Ratings.
Mexico has qualified for fourteen World Cups and has qualified consecutively since 1994; Mexico played France in the very first match of the first World Cup on 13 July 1930. Mexico's best progression was reaching the Quarterfinals in both the 1970 and 1986 FIFA World Cups, both of which were staged on Mexican soil.
Mexico is historically the most successful national team in the CONCACAF region, as they are the only team from the region to win an official FIFA recognized title. They hold one FIFA Confederations Cup, nine CONCACAF championships, including six CONCACAF Gold Cups, one North American Nations Cup and two NAFC Championships.
Although Mexico is under the jurisdiction of CONCACAF, the national football team has been regularly invited to compete in the Copa América since Ecuador 1993 finishing as runner-up twice and obtaining the third place medal on three occasions.
My main aim is to dominate the world multiple times with Mexico winning as much as I can whilst creating a mega partnership with the aim of scoring as many goals as I can from Javier Hernandez & focusing on Carlos Fierro who I will be drafting straight into the National Team.
For leagues, I have only loaded Mexico 1st & 2nd division and only on a small database and with my computer being super quick seasons will literally fly past!
A fluid, attacking 4-2-4 when I have my first friendly against Bhutan (yes, all my friendlies will be against the lesser nations as I want Carlos to get as many as possible) It will be Peralta out and Fierro in, and to get a bit of the players I have, here are the supposed top 3;
From what I can tell, Mexico is a squad that will be in their prime soon, their best players are in the later teens to mid 20's so I'm more than happy.
Our first year was a good one, I joined after the Costa Rica game and gave Carlos his international debut against Guam and he's played every game since then scoring 9 in 6.
