It's the idea of having premier league squads and league 1 squads in the Championship that will hold me back from playing - can you imagine Newcastle spending a bucket load of cash and competing with Rotherham and Blackburn on League 1 squads

it is easy to swap the promoted teams yourself it will take seconds wouldnt let that hold you back if that is all you are waiting for
its the other things that take a lot of time

so if you want to get all the correct teams in the 2017/18 UCL/Europa cups you need to use a date no later than 22/5/17 this way the Europa gets played(usually man Utd get to the final, if not tart a new save until they do) you can use FMRTE to destroy teams etc to get the desired results in any play off/final you want then

IMPORTANT:
If you download the file here on sortitoutsi, Liverpool will play in the Europa League, because there is a bug, that I can't change. I can't add 5 teams from England to Champions League, I can only include 4 teams to Champions League like last years Champions League. Therefore Liverpool will play in Europa League. There are no other bugs, so all other teams except for Liverpool are placed correctly in Champions League and Europa League. I apologise for the non responses from us all. I pretty much think everyone has been hard at work. The Promotions and Relegations are now included in FM Live Update 2017 and will be part of all downloads starting at 18:00 BST (43 minutes from the time of posting). Below is a list of what the new file includes.

this bug is if you are starting the 2016 as if it is the 2017/18 ??? if so it is because game is hard coded to only accept 4 teams from 1 nation in UCL for 2016.
If you use the real results and as my thread called important info below you can get the right teams in UCL etc and have Liverpool playing in right European compjust for your info

do as I suggested above gives you 5 EPL teams in UCL 2017/18
the 5 team rule doesnt kick in until 17/18 hard coded in game to use old rules if you start in 2016

@Jason has said they are in his reply above but remember as he says liverpool will not be in UCL as these files start the game in 2016 season as if it is 2017/18
there is a workaround I have given it in my reply above if people want to start 17/18 season in 2017
