No Brexit - Prevent Brexit from happening in FM2017

This file will prevent any changes from Brexit from happening in Football Manager 2017, ensuring what is known as a "Soft Brexit". Britain will still leave the EU however there will be no work permit changes or other ramifications.

Installation Instructions

To install this file first download it using the link on this page and then move the FMF file into this location:

Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2017/Editor Data

When you start a new game choose "Database" in the top right and make sure "No Brexit - sortitoutsi.net" is selected.

Compatibility

This file is NOT save game compatible.

This file will not be compatible with any other files that edit England, such as add ons that add lower leagues to the English league system.

you can stop Brexit completely if you use the advanced rules editor for England in the pre game editor :p

I looked how to change brexit on the editor on say a downloaded English lower league Database, I went on advanced rules if not already and then I went under agreement changes and tick the enabled off of the leaving the EU scenario. Alternatively you could edit make the years to get British citizenship accumulatively to one year.

I'll see if that works on the save

This reminds me of the old championship manager games lol.

Indeed. Gave up on my last game save due to the frustrations with EU work permits and was about to start up a new game but realised having this activated means you can only load English League One & Above.....

@Rob - any ideas?

Transfer update should work fine, it won't work with anything that affects the English leagues such as adding lower leagues.

i don't know if you still play this game mate. but, you can edit this brexit file easily (easy means : no more than 5 minutes).

First after you load this editor file on fm2017 editor. choose RULES in menu. then choose test rule. choose sky bet league two and so on or choose all.

save it. start new game. and....
