Something I've always wanted to achieve on is the record for least conceded goals for a season in Englands top flight league, i believe the record is just 16 and Arsenal (helped a lot by new signing David Seaman, a then British GK record fee of £1.3m) came very close to doing this back in the 90/91 season conceding just 18. I've also wanted to recently recreate Arsenal's current 3-4-2-1 formation that we have been using towards the end of this season, so this tactic ended up being a mixture of both ideas. As you can see from the pics defensively it was quite superb, though we did ride our luck a few times! But then we had many draws where we should have won. Going forward we didn't score many as expected, though this was a lot down to my two strikers, Welbeck and Akpom who are not the most prolific in game though Akpom did finish as top scorer.
I've just started the second season and have spent big on attacking players so will see how it fairs with a decent striker.
Disclaimer - As i always say its not a super tactic and in fact i may have just had a lucky season and it turns out to be terrible from now on! It is much more defensive minded so don't be scared to go into games with a defensive mentality or switching to one if you take the lead. If you're not conceding you're not losing.

For this i believe i was leaving them to the assistant manager, to be honest this isn't a great tactic and think it must have just been a total fluke i did so well with it for the one season
